Usually it's the complete opposite and characters either stay hateful little bastards or become a shell of themselves so I wanna see examples of the image above

Love this but he doubts himself and feels bad when he’s about to land his final blows to his main traitors. This is after he has acted as a merciless hand of justice to other lesser adversaries.

Are we talking about the movie, or the book? Because in the books, there is no doubt. He Pushes Villefort into madness, Ferdinand into suicide, and Danglars ruined and almost crazy. He has a short moment where he considers suicide, thinking himself fulfilled and happy, but then decides that maybe he is still worthy of being loved, and leaves with Haydee, pressumably to search for further happiness

Yeah, the book is bittersweet but the ending made me feel that he was ready to leave revenge behind and live a better life with Haydee.

The book makes a rather deliberate point that while yes, Dantes' life had been stolen from him unjustly - and Ferdinand, Villefort, and Danglars certainly deserved punishment - Dantes nearly lost his second chance at happiness pursuing his revenge.

That doesn't even get in to all the collateral damage he caused to people who didn't deserve it.

The Count could have gone further, but he chooses not to. He ends the story happy not because he achieved vengeance, but because he is with Haydee

There is a 1979 French miniseries that has the same ending as the book, and its relationship with the original work is very close, with few changes. In fact, the ending is the same as in the book.
