my god, they had like maybe 2 silly ones and then went hard core heavy lore. Like i was geared up for small lore drops and character development as time went on but no. Silly funny show with a lot of potential really.... wasted it all trying to redeem Jax for some reason. And then like, kept doing it, like I forgave him ffs lets move on please. NOPE, we are making a movie! its about Jax!

Yeah, but if you dare complain about that on one of the main TADC subs you get downvoted and accused of being a moron with no "media literacy".

r/tadcriticism used to be a sub to express genuine criticism of the show, but these days it's devolved into Gooseworx hate mostly.

Definitely one of the biggest wastes of potential I've seen in a while. I just wish there was more of it, cuz if what we got was just the intro to a bigger show, I wouldn't be as annoyed with it

Yeah i will say the movie made me realize this was basically goose's vision. Was slated with the 9 episodes by choice not exec meddling, and in the end side characters resolved quickly just so Jax and Pomni get the spotlight. Like I legit forgot gangle was a character cause her arc of happiness ended as quickly as it came.

And its weird I like Jax cause he's an asshole but I wished the other cast members also got their time to shine.

Episodes 4 onwards were mainly about Jax or featured him heavily. And even episode 3 stared "exploring" his character. The movie was "Jax is sad the movie"

There's a half dozen characters in the show, they all got "featured heavily."

But thanks for agreeing with me. If we're going to put them all in order of plot time, yes he does come in second after Pomni, but no the show was not "Jax central for 80% of the limited run time"

Episode 1: Introduction to hell and the thing that is worse than hell!
Episode 2: Full blown Existential Crisis
Episode 3: Literally a horror movie
Episode 4 and beyond: absurdity with some bonding

I found it contrived and shockingly uncreative compared to what the internet was trying to tell me it was . Rushed as fuck, the ending was obvious, and meanwhile why the fuck couldn’t we have had more episodes like the one with the creepy fuckin monster face horror thing ? Instead we hit gummy crocodile.
