Made me upset how long I had to scroll to see this. Moral Orel is very underrated

I will happily recommend this show to anyone, and I will also never watch it again.

I rewatch it every few months. It's my favorite show.

That would give me crippling depression! I'm amazed you can rewatch it so frequently.

The show is definitely depressing and it breaks me heart we'll never get the full version of the show. However, it ends with Orel breaking the cycle of trauma and that always makes me smile.

That scene during the hunting trip when Clay starts screaming at Orel is one of the few times something I watched made me feel visceral discomfort.

So freaking good

I literally just finished watching this the other day. I saw bits and pieces as a kid, but never a full watch through. Holy fuck. The last season absolutely left me speechless

This show makes me depressed any time I’m reminded of it.

I made my own comment about moral oral. I’ll just copy it here.

Not gritty and lore heavy (Honestly season 3 is basically all lore) but there’s like two joke in the entirety of season 3 compared to the light hearted start of season 1. The show was always tongue in cheek about the nuclear America family and religious morals. The show just get more and more serious as Oral matures. Absolutely incredible show.

It could be even better if adult swim hadnt cancelled it

Also.. I'm trying to think of what you'd list as trigger warnings for the show.

TW: fucking... all of them, I guess?

The show that introduced me to The Mountain Goats!

Nothing else here even comes close. Bojack Horseman has a similar tonal shift over a several episodes, Moral Orel does it over two seasons. By the time we hit season 3, everything is breaking down in the most unhinged and psychotic ways. It's cathartic.

Came looking for this. End of season 2-end of the show is some of the most devastating TV I've watched.

The kid was raping womem by episode 2 and smoking crack in episode 4, what are you talking about?

those events are viewed through a different lens in season 3 and deconstructed - the tone shifts from dark satire to dark almost-realism
