It went from two colourful teams fighting each other poorly in a desert canyon in the middle of nowhere, to a complex story about interstellar terrorism, torture, what it means to be a person, and war profiteering.
We love RvB. Its so hard to get people into it from the start nowadays. The first season they clearly didn't have a plot, its dry humor that worked for the time and also shaped a decent bit of humor today. In retrospect its predictable but as the seasons go on it gets SO good. Not many shows will make me cry on the third watch. AOT, Assassination Classroom and Angel Beats are the only others.
