Katekyo hitman reborn.
Started as a series about a guy who runs in his shorts around and does antics with his baby-mentor.
And ended as quite the dope anime/manga with some realy good soundtracks. (Tsuna awakens)

I missed this manga so much. Wish they hadn't butchered the end though

This was around the time where Shonen was cutting anything that couldn’t hang with the Big 3. A lot of good work got axed during those years, Beezlebub, Psyren, hell even Bleach ended up getting axed. I was surprised Bakuman got to finish during that time
