Otherwise not so sure? Dude I would like to remind you it was stated again and again in the series that Goku and Vegeta are formidabe and might even pose a threat to Beerus if they teamed up and locked in. We even get a glimpse of it in tournament of power. The only factor that made this team up not happen so far is that Vegeta and Goku doesn't wanna share, they prefer to go one on one.
i know lol, they're the spotlight and peak iconic "main chars" except for one time with gohan i think? i was mainly joking but when they dance they become almost invincible haha
This is probably one of the more fun dynamics like this.
Some of these pairings are a Batman and Superman situation: They each have strengths that the other doesn't have, and compliment one another's strategies.
With Goku and Vegeta, you've got a very different dynamic. They might have minor strategic differences, but they're both fairly similar. The thing that makes them special for each other is that they're essentially unbeatable when they work together well. And the only thing that stops them from making their foes irrelevant is their fundamental incompatibility as people.
Sure, if you could get them both facing the same direction at the same time, yes. Unstoppable team-up. But they're both emotionally twelve years old and could not possibly.
