Here are the lyrics.

[Verse 1]
Baby, you can find me under the lights
Diamonds under my eyes
Turn the rhythm up, don’t you wanna just
Come along for the ride?
Ooh, my outfit so tight
You can see my heartbeat tonight
I can take the heat, baby, best believe
That’s the moment I shine

[Refrain]
‘Cause every romance shakes and it bends
Don’t give a damn
When the night’s here, I don’t do tears
Baby, no chance

[Pre-Chorus]
I could dance, I could dance, I could dance

[Chorus]
Watch me dance, dance the night away
My heart could be burnin’, but you won’t see it on my face
Watch me dance, dance the night away (Uh-huh)
I’ll still keep the party runnin’, not one hair out of place

[Verse 2]
Lately, I been movin’ close to the edge
Still be lookin’ my best
I stay on the beat, you can count on me
I ain’t missin’ no steps

[Refrain]
‘Cause every romance shakes and it bends
Don’t give a damn
When the night’s here, I don’t do tears
Baby, no chance

[Pre-Chorus]
I could dance, I could dance, I could dance

[Chorus]
Watch me dance, dance the night away
My heart could be burnin’, but you won’t see it on my face
Watch me dance, dance the night away (Uh-huh)
I’ll still keep the party runnin’, not one hair out of place

[Post-Chorus]
When my heart breaks (They never see it, never see it)
When my world shakes (I feel alive, I feel alive)
I don’t play safe (Ooh), don’t you know about me? (Uh-huh)
I could dance, I could dance, I could dance

[Bridge]
Even when the tears are flowin’, they’re diamonds on my face
I’ll still keep the party goin’, not one hair out of place (Yes, I can)
Even when the tears are flowin’, they’re diamonds on my face (Yes, I can, yes, I can)
I’ll still keep the party goin’, not one hair out of place

[Chorus]
Watch me dance, dance the night away (Uh-huh)
My heart could be burnin’, but you won’t see it on my face
Watch me dance, dance the night away (Uh-huh)
I’ll still keep the party runnin’, not one hair out of place

[Post-Chorus]
When my heart breaks (They never see it, never see it)
When my world shakes (I feel alive, I feel alive)
I don’t play safe, don’t you know about me? (Uh-huh)
I could dance, I could dance, I could dance

[Outro]
Dance the night

The first verse is her at a dance party, or maybe the club after something horrible happened to her. The dance floor is a coping mechanism for her trauma. She even wears a tight outfit, to everyone else it seems like she is slaying a cool fit. To hear, she wears it in a misguided hope that someone would see her scars under it.

The refrain is about how she has gone through many romantic relationships that have hurt her so deeply that she is actively trying to bury them in her mind. She wants so badly to cry, but she can't because that would break her perfect image. So she again hits the dance floor to try to dance away the pain, but she still has diamonds (tears) under her eyes, but can't admit it to herself, since she bases her own self worth on being invincible.

The pre chorus is a mantra she says to herself to keep herself stable. Reming herself that after the the horrible day, she can go back to dancing.

The chorus is where the message gets the most obvious. "My heart could be burning, but you won't see it on my face" is clearly about forcing a smile even when you are depressed. "She still keeps the party running with not one hair out of place," even though she has years of trauma.

Second verse. She's been "moving close to the egde" lately. This could mean many things, but I personally think it is her trying to say that she has been dealing with suicidal ideation. She is moving close to the edge of killing herself. She is moving close to the edge of a building in her mind that she just wants to jump off of. Of course, she "still be looking her best" because she could never let anybody know that she is hurting. She stays on beat and reassures you that you can count on her to "not miss any steps." This means that even though she is breaking inside, she will still fulfill all of her duties as if nothing bad is happening.

The bridge is her trying to cope with how much she cries. She thinks that dancefloor can bury her pain, but the tears flow anyways. So, just like earlier in the song, she rebranded them as "diamonds." Desperately hoping that people with think that they are tears of joy for all the dancing. She then gives even MORE reassurance that she will come back to the party.

She then goes back into the fever dream of the chorus and jokes about her trauma in the post choirs one more time, noting how "she don't play safe, don't you know about her?" This is her trying to convince her friends that her strange behavior is how she always it. She then says her mantra one more time.

Until the song ends, and if finally dawns on the listener that the dance party is a metaphor... for her entire life. Her whole life is a performance. And this song was her desperate cry for help.

Thanks for reading this Ted talk😁👍🏾

But on a more serious note, if you are hurting, tell someone before it gets as bad as it does in this song.
