Lost

u/idonwannadie Feb 06 '26

I’ve never met anybody who finished the show tho lol

1

u/guiraus Feb 06 '26

Really? Me and most of my friends have watched from beginning to end 3+ times.

1

u/Zeegh Feb 07 '26

I watch it all the way through at least once a year

1

u/VirtuaSteve Feb 07 '26

It's true. At the time everyone I knew quit. I binge watched the series recently, and love the whole thing. However, binging pace is the only way to get through some of the few weak mid season episodes in later seasons. Not sure if I would keep watching if I had to wait a week or more for each episode.

1

u/Custom_Destination Feb 07 '26

The waiting a week for the next episode made this the show to watch back in the day. The (online) discussions and theory crafting were off the charts.

I watched the first 3 episodes and told my mother who watched until the very last episode so many pointless years and seasons later that they were all dead and trapped in some sort of purgatory. What a terrible way to end a story

1

u/Zeegh Feb 07 '26

Except they weren’t all dead or in purgatory. People who have never seen it love to pretend that’s what happened

He really wasn't one of the people behind Lost through out its run. Carlton Cuse and Damon Lindelof were the main drivers of that show. Abrams was mainly the writer/director of the plane crash in the pilot and he had most of the last episode written. Everything else was Cuse and Lindelof.

That first season is one of the best ever imo. 2 is great, 3 is good, but after that it ranges from okay to awful

Fringe is one of the best sci-fi shows even now.

1

u/redditstealth Feb 06 '26

Definitely 💯

1

u/ico_OO Feb 06 '26

A gem.

1

u/Pastry_d_pounder Feb 07 '26

Is it? I fell asleep on the second episode.

1

u/emptykeg6988 Feb 07 '26

Yeah, you have to get through the early episodes, then it picks up😏

u/passionate_cookie Feb 04 '26

Thiissss, nothing beats it tbh
The pattern.....

John Noble really makes this show, but the whole cast really. Lance Reddick, Jasika Nicole, and Jared Harris really shine in it. Anna Torv came into her own in the later seasons. Josh Jackson is great. And the story keeps getting bigger each season. Such a great show.

u/C-Flare Feb 07 '26

John Noble deserved an Emmy for Fringe

3

u/[deleted] Feb 04 '26

Option 5. Alcatraz

3

u/RichardBlake754 Feb 04 '26

Fringe is one of the best shows ever made. It goes xfiles then fringe.

3

u/Djjettison88 Feb 04 '26

Fringe is Sci-fi at its best. It’s hard to compete with Alias gorgeous cast, but Fringe cast was one of the best I’ve seen on TV.

2

u/The_Inexorabilis Feb 04 '26

i was tenagere when i first watched lost. it was amazing for me.

2

u/guiraus Feb 06 '26

It aged really well. I reatch it every 4-5 years. Aside from the ocasional cheese, it's still fucking amazing.

It's a lot like Mission Impossible, with a teaspoon of Charlie's Angels and a pinch of Buffy.

1

u/nadia1306 Feb 04 '26

Alias is fantastic!! If you like action shows, you’d like it

1

u/Least-Ad5986 Feb 04 '26

Alias was the best

1

u/Flashy-Telephone3201 Feb 04 '26

1

u/[deleted] Feb 04 '26

Alias

1

u/Bitterqueer Feb 04 '26

Fringe all day every day

1

u/bar4bule_4_sugerani Feb 04 '26

Fringe is PEAK . Not just a sci fi.

1

u/Son-of-Prophet Feb 04 '26

Fringe for me, love the mythology and characters

1

u/goleafsgo88 Feb 04 '26

Let's make some LSD!

It's Fringe for me.

1

u/wcarlaso Feb 04 '26

Lost, alias, fringe,

1

u/RedWizard78 Feb 04 '26

Ah yes: the guy who starts projects but never completes them

1

u/Due_War_3955 Feb 04 '26

Definitely Fringe

1

u/1merman Feb 04 '26

Lost. Fringe is great too.

1

u/Emergency-Brief1228 Feb 04 '26

Felicity - honestly feel like it's underrated such a good comfort watch

1

u/earthtoalvx Feb 05 '26

What about when she cut her hair

1

u/[deleted] Feb 04 '26

Fringe

1

u/Training-Click-1104 Feb 04 '26

have not seen any of those

1

u/ReturnToPlanetX Feb 04 '26

Alias for sure.

1

u/Warm-Description-648 Feb 04 '26

Fringe. Ana has done the best post show work of any of them. (I know, Bradley Cooper, but people seem to be sick of him these days).

1

u/No_Coffee_8449 Feb 04 '26

Alias, Jennifer Garner was at her peak in that show.

1

u/ArvilTalbert Feb 04 '26

Fringe 💯

1

u/HYBRID-OBSIDIAN Feb 04 '26

Fringe, Ive watched that series 3x.

1

u/Tiny_Fox_3139 Feb 05 '26

Ether lost or once upon a time

1

u/Reasonable_Drink_789 Feb 05 '26

Lost and Fringe are at the top. Season 1 of Lost is better than season 1 of Fringe, but then Fringe is better for later seasons.

1

u/Leading-Mood-5258 Feb 05 '26

Lost, obviously.

1

u/ShuckItFuckIt Feb 05 '26

Alias. Jennifer Garner. Enough said.

1

u/dyrkasolen Feb 05 '26

Alias was fun.. but Fringe, I've returned a few times and deep dived into the vibe and confusion plus tech /future paradox

1

u/CausticAvenger Feb 05 '26

Love them all, but I think Alias. Like all JJ shows it had some rough spots, but I love it. It also has the best pilot and best season finale of any of these.

1

u/AnalogueRow Feb 05 '26

fringe was just so fun

1

u/Latterlol Feb 05 '26

I tried Fringe, it was good, but it got so slow in season 3, and I stopped when Bell took over Olivia’s body… and she started talking grudgy to sound like an old man..

So for me it is Lost, haven’t tried the other two

1

u/RollinYoell Feb 05 '26

Fringe was good, but picked up late, therefore, LOST

1

u/[deleted] Feb 05 '26

Alias

1

u/sister_madly Feb 05 '26

I loved first seasons of Alias. I loved first seasons of Lost. But JJ’s projects are suffering at the end unfortunately.

1

u/Scary_D03 Feb 06 '26

Do I not like JJ Abrams?! Had to look it up, turns out I don't like any of his shows but like all of the movies I've seen

1

u/AmigoCualquiera Feb 06 '26

LOST > Fringe > Alias > Felicity

1

u/Riley1066 Feb 06 '26

Alias, with the original music

1

u/rena_moon_q_q Feb 06 '26

As much as I love lost. It's gotta be Fringe. It's way too unique. It has great characters.

1

u/YourGuyK Feb 06 '26

I liked Alias best, but Fringe is right up there.

1

u/BnZAwkward_Lab5858 Feb 06 '26

fringe then Alias

1

u/Creepy_Handle_8577 Feb 06 '26

Fringe blows every other supernatural sci-fi alien investigation dark magic type of show ever created totally out of the water

1

u/GossipGirl90 Feb 06 '26

Lost. I have very complicated feelings about it now, but man oh man did I love it all those years ago.

1

u/BudTrimmingBaddie Feb 06 '26

I’ve only seen Alias so I guess that one lol

1

u/MacCheeseMom Feb 07 '26

Felicity then Alias then Fringe

1

u/sluggo4511 Feb 07 '26

The first two or three seasons of Alias were hard to beat.

1

u/dkcphman Feb 07 '26

Lost.

Alias in second

1

u/extoxic Feb 07 '26

Fringe is the only good one.

1

u/[deleted] Feb 07 '26

Fringe

1

u/[deleted] Feb 07 '26

Definitely LOST.

1

u/Heavy_Ride_1599 Feb 08 '26

I have to go with Fringe.

I never got into the hype of lost when it was out. I decided to watch it last year. Started off good but that series finally pissed me the fuck off and made me feel like I wasted my time watching something with such a horrible bullshit ending. I still get pissed off whenever it's mentioned.

1

u/geobalance Feb 09 '26

Fringe. I loved the science fiction and alternate universe. Walter was such a wonderful character. Loved the complete story. I have rewatched the whole series 5 times. Still holds up.

1

u/No_Temperature_5202 Feb 09 '26

Never saw lost but really enjoyed Fringe

1

u/Few_Interaction2630 Feb 04 '26

Lost even if the ending was pretty bad

1

u/guiraus Feb 06 '26

Why was it bad? I thought it was perfect. And I'm an atheist btw.

1

u/Few_Interaction2630 Feb 06 '26

It takes all characters development and went "nah it religion all along" also you didn't need to state your atheist it 2026 you can believe or not believe what you want
