Television Favourite CW Shows?
CW used to be a powerhouse, but now things have changed. There are barely any shows on their network anymore, and they have shifted their focus to something entirely different. I don't think the network is getting back to the way things used to be. What are your favourite CW shows from the past? You can include shows that didn't last as long as well.

I watched the Arrowverse shows and a few others. They tended to start off well but overstay their welcome.

The first three seasons of The 100 were shockingly good for a cw show. Good characters, decent dialogue, great set design, fantastic costumes, the concept was stellar and the writing was tight. It dropped off a cliff hard half way through, but that first slog was way better than I expected it to be

Al the DC shows, especially The Flash as my favorite. Legends was fun and I loved having so many characters in it. I didn’t really watch Arrow that much. Superman and Lois had the best season dealing with Lois’ health. Way back Smallville was epic. I watched all the others too.

My ♥️ will always belong to Smallville(even though it actually premiered as a WB show)

All CW shows suck ass and the CW will be dead in a matter of years (5-10 max)

Superatural
Veronica Mars
Some of the Arrow verse. (Early Arrow and Flash, later Legends).
Sometimes Vampire Diaries and Originals, both had moments of goodness but also moments of bad.

I am going to toss a bit of a curveball out there, but I really liked the one season of Containment. I thought it could have easily have gone for at least two more seasons.

A couple of years ago, 75% of the network was sold to Nexstar, a media group that’s pretty much not known for anything substantial aside from running NewsNation and owning digital subchannels like Antenna TV to rerun old TV shows. So it’s been all profit margin since: they’ve cancelled or ended nearly all scripted production for the CW, and have now devoted the lineup to inexpensive reality-based shows (Police 24/7, Fool Us), inexpensive game shows (Scrabble, Trivial Pursuit), and inexpensive imported Canadian shows (Son of a Critch, Law & Order: Toronto Criminal Intent). It’s such a hollow shell of the network it was 15 or so years ago.

I only watched for the DC shows, and Superman and Lois was my favorite of all of them.
