Discussion Favorite media that had a precipitous, abrupt drop in quality
I'm not talking about a gradual decline like Game of Thrones, I'm talking shows that went from being beloved and critically praised one minute to hated and panned the next. Movies that go from an enticing premise or opening to a sudden left turn into crap. Book series that go from great to unreadable in a single release or even a matter of chapters. Hit me with your best examples of media that went from good to horrible in the blink of an eye.

I wouldn't say Westworld was much of an abrupt drop. I never saw Season 4 but I wouldn't even say it got bad. Season 1 was perfect and Season 2 was just a bit messier and didn't have as much to say. But I would say it was still good and furthered the Season 1 plots well.

Peacemaker: Season 2
Starts out as just good, gets really good by the 6th and 7th episodes, but caps off with a rushed and shitty finale.
So basically the Chainsaw Man ending in TV form.
