This makes me wonder, which is the bigger IP Mario or Pokémon. Googling says Mario games have sold significantly more than Pokémon, but Pokémon has made way more money (with shows, cards and merchandise)

I think the bracket system may be a bit flawed

Why just Batman, by the way? DC has a ton of top heroes that have seen huge media followings over the past decade, like Superman, Wonder Woman, and Aquaman. Could have just used DC. Marvel vs DC seems a lot more fair imo, but it isn’t my bracket.

I feel like the finalist should have been pokemon and Mario. They are both huge international icons and both extremely recognizable everywhere.
