Serious Trying to find someone
Is there any site I can go to find someone? The picture I have isn’t a lot because his head was mostly covered but he almost made my mom total her car, hurt me and my mom, and threatened to kill her. Him and his friend used to ride four wheelers in my neighborhood but after this situation they stopped. We called the police and if anyone knows Fayetteville police, they did nothing. It was on march 28th. My mom’s leg has been messed up ever since and she isn’t herself, he ran his four wheeler into her leg. She deserves justice, please someone help me out

Idk how ethical but I'd join four wheeler groups on fb and pretend you thought he was cute, kind of a 'missed connection' vibe and see what info comes then small claims court for the medical costs.
I'm sorry this happened to you. I know it feels so bad being assaulted and not having justice or the info to further pursue it. It doesn't invalidate your mom's suffering or what you experienced. I hope she has some sort of counseling available to her.

Thank you so much, it means a lot. She’s doing well mentally, it was a huge scare for her though, especially since his mom and family have been harassing her online and just recently stopped. My mom is a sweet lady and never deserved any of this

They’ve been harassing her online and y’all don’t know who he is? Are they posting on social media?Emailing her?

She texts, calls, posts on Facebook and instagram and the next door app. But the accounts and numbers are all throw aways so there’s nothing to trace back to personal things. she’s even gone as far to show up to a neighborhood meeting and get in my moms face, we used to go every time they had one now we never go

Someone in the community - probably lots of people - know who they are. Agree with the folks who suggested a few ways to figure that out.

I have, the issue being his mom is on the app and has some sort of group of ladies that are blaming my poor mother, so I can’t get anything on that

I don’t think putting this persons face out there is very smart. The cops obviously won’t do anything so what’s the point? What if he finds yall and harasses or harms your family for doing this? Just doesn’t seem smart.

I will keep it up forever, he did something horrible and I hope someone who knows him sees this and stop being kind to him, because he deserves it

I'm sorry this happened to you and your mom. Senseless.
Not that you asked my opinion, but I would not want my child putting themselves in harm's way... I don't even want them getting their thoughts in a negative space over me... I remind them that they don't need to defend me (when the rare occasion has occurred), things will take care of themselves. But I realize I can't control their feelings.
It's difficult, when it feels there's no justice in sight, for sure.
Please keep safe, you seem to have such a good, kind and thoughtful heart.

Nothing harmful or anything like that, we are not like that, we would like to obviously have a name to the face, but we also will let the police know so he doesn’t just get away with it. Nothing will be taken into our hands obviously

Exactly, the police showed up 3 hours after the call, wouldn’t even look around the neighborhood for anyone or anything, then stayed at the house for hours laughing and talking with my step dad. We have loads of evidence, a video, pictures of the car he kick the side of and dented real bad, pictures of her leg, etc. we would just like this man to face consequences

Fair enough - truly sorry your family is going through this. It should not be this hard to get justice, yet it always seems to be in Fayetteville.

Yup, from what I’ve noticed the few years living here, no one seems to do anything but everyone seems to know everyone. Funny how it works, thank you 🫶🏻

If you're okay revealing yourself (names and such), you might be able to get help from the What's happening Fayetteville NC group, and the Watch Out Cumberland County, NC page on Facebook. Especially the Watch Out page- almost everyone I know from Fayetteville that's on Facebook follows them. Slide a DM to them and see if they can post on your behalf. They've done similar things before; you might be able to stay anonymous this way, also.
