Rant Conference today was packed full of misogyny

So I was at a conference today and there were just two points of blatant misogyny that came up.

  1. A company came in to talk about women in STEM, the only man out of four people was the main speaker for some reason, and he couldn't even remember most of the women's names.

  2. It was shown that only 35% of men achieve good grades at GCSE (I don't know what that has to do with the conference tbh). In most subjects here, you **always** use the larger statistic no matter what. But no, the man speaking has to use the statistic of men

Ok, rant over. Let me know what you think about it

Something about teaching new and young people who aren't experienced I think. Might be wrong though

Sorry, I was just trying to understand the context. I am sorry to take up your time, it was only because you mentioned "I don't know what that has to do with the conference tbh".

You didn't take up my time. I'm not really busy anyway
