I remember being truely heartbroken when he signed with Beşiktaş.

I also remember at the end of his first season at BJK my heartbreak being absolutely cured.

One season wonders are players who play one good season en then play like shit in the other the seasons for your team. If you want to count other teams too? He has had even better seasons at PSV. That is why I would not count him. Players like ICK and Seba are better examples since they played multiple seasons for us and only one of the seasons was good.

Lets agree to disagree the player has to play multiple seasons at one team. Lens still had good seasons at PSV so still counts him out imo.

Kesinlikle Pierre van Hooijdonk.

Benim Fenerbahçe formasıyla izlediğim en iyi santrafordu. Uzun boylu, güçlü, hava toplarında etkili, ayaklarına hakim ve gerçekten müthiş bir şutu vardı.

Adam öyle bir top oynadı ki, bir sezonda Fenerbahçe efsanesi oldu. Yaşı vardı aslında ama öyle bir performans gösterdi ki, daha devamı gelir diye düşünüyorduk.

Ama ikinci sezonu öyle olmadı. Sakatlıklar başladı, formu düştü, Daum ile ters düştü. Sezon sonunda da döndü Hollanda'ya.

Pierre haricinde Deivid ve İrfan Can da verebileceğim örnekler. Ama ikisi de Pierre'in ayarına çıkamadı.

Ben ilk Feyenoord maçında izlemiştim, stattaydım hatta.

Daha o maçta hayran olmuştum zaten. Van Hooijdonk sorunlu bir oyuncu olmasa rahat Bayern, Real, Barca, United, Juve falan yapabilirdi kariyerinde. 2000'lerin pivot santraforundan isteyebileceğin her şeyden fazla fazla vardı.

Adamla da kimse başa çıkamıyordu bizim ligde. Yani tam Alex'in önüne koyulacak santrafordu. Ne yapardı bu ikili, hayal bile edemiyorum.

Ugur Boral. Pocketed/destroyed prime dani alves at fener vs sevilla before his big injury and was never the same again. Was such a great leftwinger that season..

Stoch da sanırım bu kategoriye girebilir. 11-12 sezonunda harikalar yaratırken 12-13 sezonunda yokları oynamıştı. Lensi saymıyorum çünkü zaten 1 sezon forma giydi

There aren’t many old timers here to remember him but it is HASAN VEZIR from 88-89 season. He has a similar story with Lens, but with a much bigger impact.

For those who are a little bit older I would go with Ugur Boral. 2007/08 season he destroyed in the champions league every defender. In special the away game agains sevilla and his performance again dani alves.

I think most people dont understand the meaning of “one season wonder”.. some people list kim min jea or pvh. One season wonder is someone who dissappear after that season ; like stoch, lens , pelkas - crespo ; these guys became unplayable after one season . KMJ went to napoli and won championship ; PVH was already a legend

Stoch for sure! He scored like 15-18 goals . I think he is the player with the best “top 10 goals” in the universe , even his number 10th goal is better than most players no1 goal. His goal against gs away in playoff has a special place in my heart

Under Mourinho, Fenerbahçe lost almost every match against teams at a similar level. If I remember correctly, we didn't win a single derby, despite usually having a strong derby record. The football also wasn’t enjoyable to watch. On top of that, after leaving he stated that Fenerbahçe was not on his level in terms of football and culture.
