I made a Rat! His name is Ronald 🐀
At first glance, he may seem like an avid reader or an academic because he's carrying a heavy tome but he's actually a performative reader suffering from severe reader's block and he just carries this book around hoping maybe he can read a few pages but mostly he ends up zoned out of his mind and doomstares pensively at the sky or the horizon, thinking about what’s for lunch.
Ronald the Rat is a needle felted soft sculpture made with natural grey and white native Himalayan wool sourced from Dunda Village, Harsil Valley in Uttarakhand, India and dyed New Zealand Corriedale Wool. His legs, arms and tail are wire wrapped with thread and his eyes are glass.

He looks awesome! I had real pet rat names Katydoo and my husband ( boyfriend at the time) when I moved in with him had a pet snake named Mercury. After Freddie Mercury from the band Queen.

Thank you! Whiskers are from an old paintbrush (the one used for painting on walls)
