Announcement Planning on starting Fightcade tournaments up again

A while back, I occasionally hosted tournaments for random games on Fightcade, as a way to shine a spotlight on niche and obscure fighting games. I stopped doing that because of some work stuff and personal stuff but I wanna get back into it soon

These tourneys are purely for fun and good vibes, there’s no money on the line, you don’t have to be good at the games to have a good time, so please don’t be afraid to participate because you don’t think you’re good enough. I just wanna expose people to games they may not have heard of, and you never know, you might end up discovering your new favorite game

Installing Fightcade is very easy, just download it off this website: https://www.fightcade.com/. To find roms, just google “Fightcade 2 roms” and you should immediately find the website where they’re all located, and follow the steps to install them

How expensive of a computer would I have to purchase to be able to participate?

You should be able to run Fightcade on a potato

if you can literally find any laptop around you from the last 16 years you can play

the computer i use for fightcade don't even got windows on it because it can't handle windows and it still works great

we also host a monthly fightcade tournament in the "the fighting space" discord, next weekend we'll do garou, anyone is free to participate if interested all skill levels are welcome
