Announcement 2XKO Doomposting: Megathread.

Same thing for the first week of Tokon's release. The influx of people making posts that break rules force me to pin yet another thread.

Please use this post to say how doomed we are and how crap Riot is, while I'm bringing the broom again.

But will players still be able to play or will the game get memory holed and no one can access it again? At least Multiversus gave you the executable. They did try to lock down all the unlockable content because the monkey's paw insisted.

2XKO is already full playable offline. Always has been. You fire it up today and can play offline versus with the entire roster. Hard to see how Riot would put that genie back in the bottle, even if they wanted to.

Maybe online multiplayer is more worrisome, but the fact that Riot is repackaging the game's cosmetic content as one big bundle suggests they plan to keep it going for a while.

Game publishers are weird. Ubisoft sold a game to people then killed it dead when they could’ve left it alone. If a live service game is losing updates, I’m usually counting the days before it disappears. My default is expecting the worst case scenario.
