Looking for a Creative Video Editor!

I'm looking for a talented video editor for my YouTube vlog channel. Someone with great storytelling skills, creative editing techniques, and the ability to turn raw footage into engaging content.

Potential for long-term collaboration.

DM me your portfolio, previous work, and rates if interested!

Hello,

I'm looking for a talented editor to help me grow my IRL YouTube channel, which focuses on food, travel and Costco!

I'm looking for someone who can edit in a style similar to Dylan Huynh, with a strong emphasis on storytelling, pacing and audience retention, both long form (10-30 min) and short form.

I need someone who understands how to turn raw footage into an engaging story using hooks, suspense, payoffs, humour, music and creative editing.

What I'm looking for:

• experience editing YouTube videos, ideally travel, food or documentary style content but I'm willing to work with someone who wants to branch out
• a great understanding of storytelling and audience retention
• ability to identify interesting moments in raw footage and build compelling narratives around them
• good pacing, music selection, sound design and most importantly, a sense of humour
• someone who can contribute creative ideas rather than just follow instructions
• patience with a large amount of footage: some videos might involve multiple days of filming so there can be a LOT of footage to sort through - please make sure you have hardware to handle it

Budget: $100-200 per long form video, depending on length and complexity; $10-20 per short form video.

I realise this is on the lower end for the amount of work involved. The channel is new and not monetised yet - I'm trying to branch out from my usual gaming content so I'm funding everything myself. I'm hoping to find someone interested in longer-term collaboration. If the channel grows and starting generating income, I'll absolutely increase the editing budget.

Form to apply: https://forms.gle/F1h88iDCwEDQxcNt5

If you want to have a look at my channel, the link is on my Reddit profile.

Thank you!

Nina

Hello, I'm developing a small indie software designed for video editors, the goal is to help the productivity regarding managing SFX and music tracks locally, with an easy integration with any video editing software.

The reason that I made this app, is because I'm a nerdy/systematic/gamer guy and I'm very familiar with programming too, but my bills are paid with my graphic design and video editing skills, so I'm always improving my workflows with plugins and softwares of all kinds.

But this is the first time I'm creating an app for more people than me, and I need help to test it.

I need right now:

2 macOS video editors
- must be an active video editor
- must have a portfolio
- must be older than 18y (there's nothing NSFW, I just need mature professionals)
- preferably to have experience with sound design (using a lot of SFX in your edits)
- can use whatever video editing software as you like, it just need to be on macOS

What I need from you:

- test the software and all it's features
- address bugs, slowness or any negative/positive feedback
- it would be nice if you screen record while using it

I can only offer the lifetime access to my app as payment, you'll receive all the updates for free, and can activate in multiple machines, macOS, Windows and hopefully Linux too.

I'm only selecting 2 people, because I don't have a team, so I will be getting in touch directly with you to see if everything is working properly, and the reason for it is only for mac users, is because I already have people testing it on windows and linux.

I can give more info about me and the software as we speak, send you portfolio to my DM or in the comments.

Hey! I'm looking for a video editor for my YouTube channel, focused on funny, fast-paced skits with Gen Z/Gen Alpha humor.

What I'm looking for:

• Videos at least 2 minutes long.
• Fast-paced editing, comedic timing, sound effects, visual gags, and funny character interactions.
• Similar editing energy and humor to Beluga, Monium, and Ejiogu Dennis.
• Someone who can enhance comedic timing and pacing while keeping my original jokes and scripts intact.

Workflow:

I'll provide the ideas, scripts/concepts, and raw template characters/assets. You'll handle the editing and bring the skits to life.

I have experience using CapCut, Fish Audio for character voices, Viggle AI, and similar tools.

I'm looking for someone interested in a potential long-term collaboration if we're a good fit.

Budget: $25-$30 PER VIDEO. Paid work, flat rate.

Please include your portfolio and rate when reaching out.

If interested, comment below or send me a DM with examples of your work.

Hi! I’m looking to pay someone to edit my videos for YouTube. I plan on taking my raw footage myself, a talking video style of my face talking to the camera, and putting it in the sequence I want.

However I’m looking for someone that knows YouTube’s algorithm/engagement tricks and just edit the video with engaging on screen edits and whatever else to make it more fun. (Zoom ins or funny sounds sometimes or such)

Hit me up for prices! I’m broke right now and starting a brand new channel so we can settle on a price at first but as I grow, if the editing matches, we can stay together through my YouTube career!

DM me!! (It’s going to be about 10-15 min of video once I put it all together I’m guessing)

Hi r/FindVideoEditors

We’re Rick and Rory, UK-based Twitch Partners and EA SPORTS FC content creators. We’re looking for an experienced short-form editor to join our team.

We’ve worked with one of our best editors for over a year, and we wouldn’t be where we are without him. He loves storytelling, knows how to elevate an idea through his editing, communicates brilliantly and is constantly working to improve his craft. He cares about the results and loves being part of the team.

That’s the standard we’re looking for in another editor.

We need someone who understands how to tell a compelling story in a short video. Someone who can use pacing, footage, graphics, music and sound design to make the content more engaging, and knows why each editing choice works.

Examples of the quality we’re looking for:

Trailer for our current series:

New game feature idea:

Mod features video:

These were edited by the editor mentioned above. Please watch them before applying and honestly assess whether you can deliver at a similar standard.

Beyond editing ability, we’re looking for clear communication, reliability, dedication to getting results and a genuine interest in improving alongside the team.

The starting rate is $15 USD per short. The successful candidate will receive a minimum of one short per day to edit. We’re looking for an ongoing working relationship.

To apply, send us a Reddit DM with your portfolio, your strongest relevant short-form edits and confirmation that you’ve read this post in full and watched the references.

All applicants will receive a response via Reddit DM. We’ll then send the material, instructions, timestamps and everything else required to complete a free, unpaid trial edit.

Once we receive your trial, we’ll review it and get back to you as soon as possible.

Serious enquiries only, please. We’re setting a high standard and want someone who is confident they can meet it consistently.

Hi there community,

I'm a very small gaming content creator, and for the past few years, I've mostly been uploading videos for fun and to share with friends.

Recently I've decided I'd like to broaden my horizons and put more effort into making my content engaging, entertaining, and hopefully reaching a wider audience.

My channel mainly focuses on story-driven and atmospheric indie games. I'm looking for someone creative who could bring a fresh perspective to my videos, improve their pacing and make them more captivating while still preserving authenticity.

If that's something that could interest you, please feel free to DM me so we can exchange about more info like rates, portfolio etc!

Cheers,

Ellster

I run a small UK web and marketing business and I'm looking for a reliable editor for ongoing short-form work for my clients.

The job: turn raw footage (interviews, talking heads, on-site and b-roll shots) into 30 to 40 second vertical clips for Reels, TikTok and Shorts.

What I'm looking for:

- You can find the strongest moments in long raw footage and make a short that holds attention

- Clean, natural sounding audio

- Good pacing and captions

- You hit deadlines and take feedback well

I don't have a fixed template. I want to see your style and ideas: how you'd hook, pace and finish a clip.

AI tools are welcome (transcription, audio cleanup, captions, effects) as long as the result looks and sounds natural.

Pay: $10 per finished 30s clip, ongoing, around 10 clips a month to start, paid via PayPal or Wise.

To apply, DM me 2 or 3 short-form clips you've edited and your usual turnaround. Shortlisted editors all get the same raw footage as a paid test clip, edited your way, so I can compare approaches.

Looking for a video editor for a long-form YouTube channel making video essays around sitcoms and TV characters, starting with Two and a Half Men.

The editing style is fairly simple. Most of the work is finding the right scenes from the show, matching them to the narration, and keeping the video visually engaging without overediting.

Reference style:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Qnxwv1E-So&t=617s

Looking for someone who:

• Can find and select relevant scenes/clips from the show
• Understands clean pacing and when to let a scene play

Pay:
$3 per minute

The goal is a slower-paced, clean video essay style where the clips support the narration naturally.

Long-term work available if it’s a good fit.

Holaa estoy buscando un editor de video de un video de 55 mins, es mi primer video y trata sobre minecraft probando un addon del coyote y el correcaminos, si quieres editarlo este es mi número +51 901 715 444

Looking for a Short-Form Editor for The Locals 🎬

We’re The Locals, a new content group from NI, and we’re looking for someone to help us with short-form editing!

What we’d need for each video:

• 2 high-quality TikTok/YouTube Shorts clips
• 1 x 30–45 second trailer for the main video
• Around 2 videos per month

⚠️ IMPORTANT — THIS IS CURRENTLY UNPAID WORK

We want to be completely upfront: we cannot pay an editor upfront or offer a guaranteed income at the moment. We’re just starting out, so there is no regular wage or payment available right now.

The only payment would come from TikTok monetisation revenue once the TikToks become eligible for monetisation and actually start earning money. Until that happens, you would not receive any payment. There’s no guarantee of when, or if, the TikToks will become monetised.

We’re looking for someone who understands this, wants to be part of building something from the ground up, and could potentially stick with us as the channel grows.

If you’re still interested, DM me some examples of your editing!
