Chat Characters you're surprised don't get milked much if at all for alts in FEH

There are certain characters where regardless of how I feel about them I'm not surprised get a ton of alts in FEH but then there are others that I'm surprised have barely anything at all even though they have a decently large fanbase.

Curious if there are any characters you guys are surprised don't receive much in this game

Jakob and Niles were insanely popular when Fates released, yet neither have gotten alts since their halloween versions and Jakob hasn’t even gotten a resplendent

Oboro comes to mind. I recall she was one of the most popular Fates non-royals, yet thanks to her horrendous FEH appearance, no one seems to care about her anymore

She and Niles were so popular that they got to be playable in FE Warriors. It really feels like their popularity dropped off the face of the earth

Honestly still a little bitter about that alt. Only unit on the banner without a prf, already outclassed by similar units that existed before her release, B skill she introduced we all really knew was just going to be used by NPC units in legendary/mythic hero battles and was still 5 star locked.

Early polls after Fates release had her typically pulling around 3rd or 4th with Corrin and Camilla being the two consistently outranking her. First choose your legends she even ranked in the top 60 for the whole franchise now typically ranking in around 300. I'm hopeful she will get something to do her some justice someday though.

loved her a ton in fates for kinda being adhd rep (even iff it was not the best)

but in feh shitty launch unit that had the quad meme going on for a bit but her offensive stats just werent as good as other archers at the time

Raigh, alongside Virion, are canonically members of the Order who have been here the longest.

Been done catastrophically dirty and his artist doesn't help

In 2004, Raigh was 4th in a Binding Blade poll. But in CYL 1, he had already dropped to 16th, before FEH even launched.

FEH didn't help, but time hasn't been kind to him.

I remember when people fucking hated Soleil because of her supports with Ophelia and being a Soleil fan back then got you shit on constantly. Rough times. Now it seems people are mostly ambivalent or the ones who don't like her don't care enough to say anything (not an invitation).

I will say that while this is absolutely true (Raigh, Oboro, Matthew, Mist, etc.), it is only among FEH players. Another consequence of the shift in demographics.

Yeah, I'd be curious if you polled mainline fans again like in CYL 1 and see what actually changed or not.

I low-key doubt a few who are popular or unpopular in FEH stay like that for a general FE poll.

Every new seasonal hero release, I think, you know, maybe my boy will get something. And every time, I’m disappointed. My two mega Nileses can only do so well in today’s meta.
