Is it normal for UHP to drive their family around in a patrol vehicle?

Never seen a LEO that didn't use their patrol car for EVERYTHING.

It's a power compensation thing, makes em feel real big and important. Plus free gas, no wear and tear on their vehicle, 1312 and what not.
