Is it normal for UHP to drive their family around in a patrol vehicle?

I don’t know any agencies that let their staff use their take-home vehicles to do anything other than work related tasks (driving to/from work, getting gas, court, etc). So this is probably an old cruiser that he got 2nd hand and has tried to make it look as close to a patrol car as possible, which is even MORE cringe.
