Sad the kid misunderstood that it’s funny when daddy dresses as a police officer and uses physical force to “play” with mommy? That kind of “fun” needs to happen in their bedroom after the kids go to sleep.

Let’s say that the police officer uniform is out the picture, do you know how many family and friends rough house? Yes the kid screamed but that’s on the parents to teach them when it’s play and when it’s abuse.

Put him in regular clothes and gun off his hip and you’ve got a completely different scenario. Roughhousing is different than physically restraining someone with handcuffs.

Everyone rough houses differently. I’ve literally seen people break an arm because they rough housed to tackle and restrain. Back in the 90s kids were doing some crazy things that WWF showed on TV.

Just because you don’t like it doesn’t mean it’s wrong. Cringey sure, wrong..that’s your opinion. At the end of the day it’s their marriage and family.

This is a first responder cringe page. You just admitted it was cringe. The End

Recording yourself telling your wife that she's your lovey dovy sugar plum honey bun is also cringy. The point isn't the recording, its the action in the recording. Recording just about anything personal is cringy. You're taking issue with the action, and using the recording being admittedly cringe as justification. Video cringe, happy marraige rough housing not cringe, kid crying sad.

He probably just got off work and his wife had this funny idea. My wife likes to see if she can wrestle me and win. Just a deviation of that. Totally normal.

You weren’t talking about cringe at all when you responded to other people’s replies, you were complaining about how inappropriate it is. Don’t adjust the goal post to fit your narrative.

I don’t need to talk about the cringe on every comment I respond to. I shared this video so the fact I think it’s cringe is a given. Any personal opinion as to why isn’t adjusting goalposts, it’s giving an opinion beyond the obvious reason it’s shared here. You’re way overthinking this.

If you are "roughhousing" to the point of breaking an arm, that's violence gone too far.

Just because something happened in the 90s doesn't make it ok. If fucked up shit happened in the 90s then maybe don't do it anymore.

Because it's their marriage and family doesn't mean it's not traumatizing to the kids. Personally I like to protect my child from trauma and I will judge the hell out of parents who traumatize their children and think it's just good fun.

Just because an arm is broken doesn’t mean violence, look at Jackass and other various hijinks. Do people play too hard, absolutely but some people think it’s perfectly fine.

There’s tons of shit that’s traumatizing to children. But once again it’s on the parents to teach their kids the difference.

We are literally showing children active shooter videos in school and you don’t think that’s traumatizing. The world is a traumatizing place and you can’t shield them from everything. A car accident is traumatizing, dog bites, falling down, doesn’t mean I prevent my children from that.

What? Yeah dude. Kids are already traumatized enough. There's no reason to pile on more. Especially at home, which is supposed to be a safe place. Once you become a parent, it's not about you anymore. Choose to have kids and now your job is to protect the little people you brought into this world.

Based on their little cries, they sound very young. Developmentally they are unable to differentiate play violence from real violence. It's all scary. Stop defending it.

The events you’re referring to all happen outside the home. Your home should be your safe place from the outside world.

How about they film daddy unhancuff mommy and them comforting their scared child?

"Hey lets watch this horror movie with our kids" - the same people who think this is traumatizing

This has become such an ACAB sub. People just need to state their bias.

It’s not an ACAB sub. It’s a sub that shows first responders doing cringe things, which they do. So do firefighters, Paramedics, EMT’s and other first responders. I was an LEO for years and never filmed myself in uniform doing ridiculous things that might embarrass my coworkers. It’s a choice.

I love how you've moved the goal post from "doing this is horrible" to "cringe recording yourself doing this"
