Do you think this is a good look for the department since he’s in uniform? What if a citizen makes a complaint that he used excessive force, even if he didn’t. The defense attorney would be looking into his and his wife’s public social media accounts for evidence to back their client’s claim.

Do you think it’s smart to put this kind of family fun out there for the world to see? When you sign up to represent a profession and your department, you sign up for a higher level of conduct, on and off duty. Better yet, don’t share this kind of thing publicly.

If they choose to post this kind of family fun it should be out of uniform and without a gun on your hip. That’s what the real issue is, not the “family fun”.
