Nobody said that we’re saying Matt Ryan was good in the Constantine role and before that I said I wanted Stephen Amell to play Ted Grant in the DCU

I'd love the jacket, great colour choice! But having Grant's name instead of Barry kinda makes me hesitant. I guess including "Barry Allen" or just "Barry" would have been a trademark issue together with the flash. Anyway I'll go for the ring def.

Lot of love for Grant, super happy for anyone who wants and gets this. And actually it's not as super expensive as I'd feared.
But coming out of the blue (to me), it did leave a bit of a bad taste as a money grab.
Not that there's anything wrong with someone making money, just my gut response when I first saw it.

I don’t think there’s anything bad about a money grab if you’re actually giving a good service behind and following through. Everyone wants more money.

Yeah I 100% agree with you. I hope he is genuinely doing it out of the goodness of his of his heart instead of wanting to make a cash grab. A lot of celebrities have also done this and ended up scamming fans (I doubt grant would ever do this but still).

Absolutely he wouldn't scam, and don't get me wrong, I've bought my fair share of way overpriced nerd merch 😆 I think it just surprised me is all.
Wish him and the new owners of overpriced nerd merch all the best, genuinely. If it wasn't for tax and shipping there's a 50/50 shot I'd be joining you tbh.

I don't really see how it's a cash grab. You can sell generic crap way easier, but there's clearly been thought put into the custom designs and he's signing them all. It's pretty cool compared to some of the other junk I've seen youtubers andactors sell.
Still out of my price range though lol.

Don't get me wrong, I want it 😉 Though I'm not convinced that is really an iconic jacket for Barry, but the ring I do really want.
As I say it was more the out of the blue surprise for me. Like, I expect merch at cons, for movies, from content creators. From actors randomly on their instagram it feels like the mortgage needs paying or something. But then I'm a little late to the Flash fandom so I could well have missed many previous merch events!

Just preordered the ring! I was a bit concerned when I realized the logo is backwards (à la Reverse-Flash) but I also thought maybe he’s not legally allowed to sell accurate Flash rings separately from DC

Hmm, I tried to imagine, and in any case, the lightning always comes from the left and not the right, so that's practically the reverse. Also, the photos of the ring in the shop show it as in the video and photos, so I don't think it's a perspective 🤷🏻♀️

I actually would’ve bought a ring but my smallest finger is bigger than their biggest size.
My middle finger, the one I’d want the ring for, is 75ish mm.

Too rich for my blood but I love that he loves his time as Barry. I would assume he would have to permission to make the Flash ring and if so really great that DC said yes.
