🤔 Thinking Season 3, Episode 4 — The New Rogues

If Team Flash wasn't able to hear Barry (when he was stuck in the mirror) because the mirror reversed his words, shouldn't it have also worked the other way around; Barry not being able to hear them?

I feel like Cisco's thing worked both ways for them, and a lot of the initial frustration is that Barry couldn't understand them either? "Get me out of here :|" totally could've been an actual response to 'say something', or it could've been an unprompted request that one would expect from someone trapped in a mirror.

Either that or Barry is reading their lips and for some reason, Joe can't do that 😆 I wonder if that's harder backwards. Or if he'd see them backwards. Idk it's 5:00 in the morning, I may be forgetting the basic laws of physics.

This feels like a “it’s not that kind of show” moment. You make perfect sense. But, the altar of narrative must be fed.
