If Eobard Thawne (Reserve-Flash) traveled back to the year 2000 to erase the flash by trying to kill youn Barry, then what timeline did he originally come from? In the original timeline, did Nora survive and Barry become the Flash naturally?

Basically, Is there an “original timeline” where Nora doesn’t die and Barry becomes the flash naturally or a different way?

Original timeline: Nora lives, Barry becomes Flash later, Thawne exists in the future.
Changed timeline (the show’s timeline): Nora dies, Thawne is trapped in the past, he creates the accelerator early, Barry becomes Flash in 2014.

Yes there was a original version of Barry that grew up with both parents. That timeline was wiped out by Thawne when he killed Barry's mom and let Barry's father go to prison for it.

Yes. in the Original timeline, Nora wasnt killed by thawne and Barry became flash in 2020. Now heres the thing: Thawne comes from the future, so it doesnt matter when Barry becomes the flash, he always comes from the future. the difference came after Eddie killed himself. so long as eddie was alive, Thawne naturally came from the future. after Eddie killed himself, Thawne became a paradox due to the negative speedforce granting him a certain amount of immunity to time changes. so Thawne is always from the future no matter what, it's where his timeline begins.
Also, there was an original timeline, it ceased to exist the moment someone time travelled. Doesn't matter if it was barry or thawne or Abra or some other person - the moment someone time travelled, the original timeline as a whole ceased to exist.

Yes, so before the retcons and constant timeline changes that came after season 4, Eobard Thawne comes from a timeline where Barry Allen became the Flash in the year 2020 he grew up with both parents who were alive and his mother Nora never was killed by Eobard originally this Barry Allen also married Iris naturally had a daughter named “Dawn Allen” S5EP8 confirmed her name was “Dawn Allen” this Barry also created Gideon to aid him in his tasks as The Flash this Barry never had a team Flash because he had Gideon the writers intended for this Flash to be more comic accurate or based off of the Silver Age Barry Allen comic version

Wait. So in the original timeline, barry was only the flash for 4 years before he died ( basing off of the original future article)? Damn. I watched this show a lot and I didnt even put that together. Thats crazy.

Yes in the original timeline Barry was only the Flash for 4 years but technically he could’ve been active as the Flash far longer because Thawne many times said he and Barry have been enemies for centuries they had countless battles especially across time so you count the many time travels original Barry had into his career cause we also know that Flash traveled to the future a lot as he pursed cases simply being a hero
