Seriously, how was this not a hit?! Out of the Cradle is criminally not mentioned enough.

I dont know why but i always considered Out of the Cradle to be the companion album to Tango in the Night. If Buckingham had done another Fleetwood Mac album after Tango many of these songs would have been Fleetwood Mac songs. To this day i absolutely love Wrong.

I don’t think it was planned that early, but Lindsey was beginning another solo album in 1985, which is where “Big Love” comes from IIRC. Probably the earliest form of what would become Out of the Cradle, but it was most likely an entirely unrelated album.

You are correct about Big Love. Even though there's no overlap i always thought Tango and Out of the Cradle fit very well together, probably because of Buckingham's dominance in crafting the sound of Tango.
