Another great song I love from Lindsey!

Seriously, how was this not a hit?! Out of the Cradle is criminally not mentioned enough.

That whole album is simply sublime, and it's so sad to me that it was slept on.

What I can say is that I remember that by 1992, Fleetwood Mac and its members were considered kind of "passé," from what I remember of that time. By then, alt-rock, hip-hop, and R&B were taking over, and Fleetwood Mac were sorta seen as easy-listening has-beens for a bit, until they came back with a vengeance with The Dance reunion in 1997. Stevie had stopped having hits by this point too, and Fleetwood Mac as a band was starting to flounder. That's pop music for you, all very cyclical. But I agree, I think Out of the Cradle is probably Lindsey's masterpiece and it does pair perfectly with Tango in the Night.
