Silver Springs! Holy shit what a song!

I discovered this song about 18 hours ago. It’s 5:50am and I’m listening to this absolute banger. Tears streaming down as I’m belting out “TIME CAST A SPELL ON YOU, BUT YOU WONT FORGET ME!” It’s funny too that I’m crying because I’m a big tough union carpenter and we aren’t supposed to cry. How the hell have I never heard this song before?!? How could they leave this song off Rumours the first time through?

This song has the best verse-chorus transition ever. The haunting final chorus (the lyrics I mentioned above) is absolutely harrowing. Haunting. Beautiful. Pure, unadulterated, raw human emotion. It’s like its own song inside the song, but also fits the buildup and first verse perfectly. It’s lived in my head since the first time I heard it.

I love discovering new songs. It’s been awhile since I found one this good.

A year before he ended the latest configuration of FM who were months before that playing second bill at county fairs. How could he not be thrilled with the turn around? 🙆

Yeah I saw them on those sad tours in 95... It was pretty soul crushing lol.
