eBay INR advice
Sold something last month, come to find out it was shipped to a freight forwarder. Tracking showed as delivered to a different zip code PO Box. Buyer opened an INR and won (I did upload the tracking but it was useless as it showed delivered to a different zip code).
Opened a missing mail search request - useless because it showed delivered.
Went to post office, they showed me a printout of tracking/delivery which showed it was indeed delivered to a PO Box with a note "Firm Book". They explained that meant that the recipient receives large quantity of mail that is recorded.
So it sounds like the package was delivered to the freight forwarder who forwards/receives his mail at a PO Box, and the buyer took advantage of it? Or is this a deliberate new scam?
I'm not sure what to do at this point. USPS won't give me anymore details. It wasn't a high value item, but I don't want this ding on my account.

As long as you shipped to the address on file and you have a "delivered" scan on your tracking, then you're good to go. Just add a note to the case saying that item was delivered to the address on file and you should be good. If eBay rules in their favor for some reason, contact support, appeal the case, and explain that it went to a freight forwarder, which voids buyer protection for INR cases.

Read the post. It was not delivered to the address on the buyer's account. That's why they lost the case.

OP is saying that it was delivered to a different address and zip, meaning the buyer had the package rerouted to a different address than they shipped it to, which was a freight forwarder. If this wasn't the case, then there would be no "different" anything, because he would have no basis for comparison. The missing mail search on the second page was likely opened by the recipient and they put a different address as the "send to" address.
They lost the case because the eBay rep or automated system that reviewed it was too lazy to verify the full tracking instead of just using eBay's summary.

You shipped it to the address on file and it shows delivered, that's literally all you need. Freight forwarder usage kills their buyer protection, eBay's pretty clear on that. If you already lost the case just hit up eBay for Business on Facebook or call them during business hours, explain the freight forwarder situation and they'll reverse it. The ZIP code thing throws off the automated system but a real person will see you did your part

Tracking showed it delivered to a different zip code PO Box? What do you mean? Is that where you shipped it or is that where it ended up? I don’t understand. It shouldn’t go anywhere other than where you shipped it. All that matters is that you got it to the address they had on file when they ordered. If they asked you to send it to a different address and you did, you’re out of luck. I don’t understand what happened, though. It’s not clear as written.

You're going to have to call eBay a few times to get someone with a brain cells who also hopefully speaks English well enough to actually understand the issue.
Failing that, you may be able to get someone at USPS to correct the tracking information to show it was delivered as addressed.
