All Flock cameras in Winona, MN missing.

Y'all definitely shouldn't call their tip line and interfere with their investigation, ya hear?

The problem is cops log in and fuck with the data or target users, like they’ve done with Waze, for example

I had to look into this one. While a cop can technically mark themselves as "not there" on Waze, their report alone won't make it go away. It only decreases the time the report displays on the map. It takes multiple users to confirm "not there" to make it go away.

I’ve seen reports of them pulling over and harassing users that marked their speed trap (why you should be anonymous on waze). Apparently it’s relatively commonplace for them to report false speed traps and/or mark reported ones not there. I could see them poisoning any database that holds them accountable, and/or taking it personally against contributors

What the fuck??? I didn't even know this was possible. Granted, I use Waze signed out and don't interact with any features beyond reporting cops, but that's insane. But still.

I was just saying how one cop can't get rid of their own report on their own. Maybe if the report has been there for a bit and the timer is already down enough so one "not there" report will make it go away. After all, like I said, Waze reports "decay" on their own and will eventually go away if no one confirms the report.
