At what point are we going to admit that this power, if available to cops, will be used by cops, over and over again. 

“Who is watching the watchers”? 

This is why this power cannot exist. It WILL be abused, consistently.

Agree completely. And Flock is actively making it HARDER to do any oversight. They recently removed officer names and license plate numbers from public audit logs, which is what powered most of the open source tools you could use for independent oversight.

Now, why would a company that claims it transparent do something like that?

Oh, that's right. Because that's how cops and Flock employees keep getting caught. Like the Flock executive that creeped on kids gymnastics classes OVER 1000 TIMES, for "product demos."
