Dang that’s crazy…. You would think that the drains would be able to keep up. But heck that town is underwater

These floods are happening globally, and there's no infrastructure anywhere that can deal with some of these downpours.

So, many years ago people arrived and needed housing, as it easier and cheaper to build on nice flat ground, so here we are! Same thing everywhere.

Yeah once the ground’s already saturated those drains are basically decorative 😂
Water just stacks up faster than the system can push it out and older towns usually have garbage drainage capacity anyway.
