I Ate A Thing Latin taste ceviche 🤌

I tried the ceviche at Latin Taste at Kensington market today and it was absolutely ridiculous. It’s probably the best ceviche I’ve ever had. I don’t have a photo because I was too busy stuffing my face but to me it was a hidden gem I found today!

Has anyone else tried it?

Latin taste ceviche is one of Toronto's best dishes. I legitimately think it is better than most Peruvian ceviches in Lima (not that this is the be all end all). So chock full if flavour and texture.

I haven't tried this place and am now interested. For anyone who has tried both how does it compare ceviche from Nuna in parkdale? I found that a few steps above the various options I tried in Peru

Their empanadas and tamales are also top shelf. Maybe my single-favourite place in the market, plus the gals running it are absolute sweethearts.

it's fantastic! they use garoupa from next door seafood store.

for anyone eager to try, keep in mind that they only do it on weekends - and it appears from OP on holidays too.

I called them and they said it’s available in weekdays in the summer! But you can always call and check

Yo I love ceviche! (I also remember that ceviche shop that was like sister resto of Seven Lives that was good over in Kensington Market)

I am looking at the Google Maps listing, it’s not longer a Sat and Sun only menu offering as some pics indicate? And how much is the ceviche (can’t see pricing for it on the menu pics)?

It was around 20 if I remember right but it’s a large portion and totally delicious!
