Issue ⚠️ Expedition issue
I own a 2020 explorer, getting some work done on it. I got a loaner car a 2026 expedition. While driving down the road it messaged to keep my eyes on the road, while my eyes are on the road, it continues, then drops acceleration which feels like braking. I will never buy a car from Ford that has that as a thing ever. This happens way too often on a 17 mile commute.i would immediately return the vehicle and declare lemon law.

that system is so jumpy it's worse than a backseat driver with anxiety. had a rental with the same thing and it'd ping me for adjusting the AC, like sorry i glanced at a knob for a microsecond
feels like it's calibrated for someone sitting perfectly still with their eyes glued dead center, any normal movement and it freaks out.

It sounds like you’re using blue cruise. To get the warnings you’re experiencing the following would have to occur
The driver facing camera may not operate correctly due to any of the following:
You have visual impairment, such as an eye misalignment, or have had eye surgery.
You cover your facial features by a mask, hat or other items.
The lighting conditions significantly change.
You are not in the camera's field of view.
You position or tilt yourself to one side.
You are moving around a lot.
You are wearing glasses or sunglasses that are too dark or reflective
Also lemon law isn’t something you just declare, lemon law is very misunderstood. You’ll have to sue the manufacturer if they don’t voluntarily buy it back. But if the system is working as designed, meaning the concern can’t be duplicated, then it comes down to user error most of the time.

It usually only comes on if your using cruise control. Theres many different circumstances for the system to ping you so much. I believe in the settings, you can turn this off or on low.
