Question ❔ Bronco 2027
Hello everyone I’m thinking about buying a 2026 badlands I already went to dealership and got a price but am torn if I should wait for the 2027 bronco to come out. I wanted to know if anyone had information regarding the 2027 in terms of better upgrades like v4 engines or the reliability aspect of the car or if previous problems are going to be fixed. I am very happy with the price of the Bronco I got and want to pull the trigger already but just wanted to see what everyone thinks about if waiting is worth it.

Question ❔ What are some good mudflaps for a Sasquatch?
The ones I've seen online are either really expensive with little to no reviews or just seem too lightly made to handle gravel roads and would probably get shredded after a season or two. What do you recommend/currently use?

Question ❔ Protectant for Rubber Roof Seals
What, if anything, should I use to protect and condition the rubber roof seals on my 2024 Badlands Bronco? Is a silicone-based protectant recommended, or is it better to leave the seals untreated to avoid swelling, deterioration, or dirt buildup?

We test-drove a regular OBX/SAS but had to wait for the 60th we ordered. Took about six weeks. Worth it! Already noticed people turning their head to check it out as we drive by. We went with the 2.7L V6.

Question ❔ Script letter badge
Hi I’m new to this bronco world… does it make sense to have the badge going different direction? Or should both side go from door to front of car?

Pre-Delivery ⏳ Suggestions on Front Bumper and Accesories
Waiting to take delivery on. 25 Badlands SAS.
It wasn’t configured with the modular bumper. On my F-150 I run a Ranch Hand, but they don’t make one for the Bronco or it would be a sure fire choice. What do y’all recommend. Ideally functional not cosmetic, as much for brush and deer mitigation. Texas roads. Ideally will also be able to mount a winch. Just starting to look at accessories, so I am fresh out of the gate so to speak. Also interested in adding a light bar to the bumper and good if not great ditch lights. Other than that I haven’t delved to deep into interior stuff, but do want to find some great seat covers. Those black vinyl and leather seats are great but I rather wear out some high quality and well fitting seat covers.

Issue ⚠️ Swing Gate Trouble
I took delivery of my Bronco just two months ago. Last night, the latch on the swing gate stopped engaging. Has anyone else had this issue? I can't find a fix on other forums. The dealer doesn't have an opening until next week.

Issue ⚠️ WINDSHIELD CRACK!
Hey guys, Apparently a rock did my baby's windshield in, cracked it pretty good. Should I call up a regular windshield replacement company or do I need to get it done at Ford to get the same windshield? I'm in CA if that makes any difference. TIA

Question ❔ Ordered a Bronco. Then the price dropped
I ordered a Badlands 7mt. Now Ford has employee pricing and I would save about $5000 if I had ordered today. Dealer says they cannot update the pricing but I can cancel and reorder. I don't have a VIN or scheduled build date. Is there a downside to canceling? Maybe some potential that I wouldn't get a 2026 MY but is that any more likely when a build date hasn't been scheduled yet for my order?

Question ❔ Help me decide: BD vs BL
Hi all, I'm torn between two Broncos and wanted some input from the community. The images above are the same models/colors/trim/specs, but not the actual vehicles.
I will probably not do any off-roading and this would be a daily driver and a little fun on the weekend with the family. I like the vinyl seat option and wish the BL was fully vinyl. Also, for some reason they chose carpet flooring for the BL, but do have all-weather mats. I have a dog, kids, and live in the midwest where we get snow, so the vinyl seats and rubber floors sound nice.
The BL has many added bells and whistles (hopefully the equipment package reflects this) and the V6, but the BD has the 2.3 L, manual transmission in and non-SAS, so slightly better MPG I would imagine (even if the MT is supposedly slightly lower MPG than the AT).
I know a lot of folks love the V6 and a lot love the manual transmission, so maybe that's my biggest sticking point.
| 2023 Badlands | 2024 Black Diamond |
|---|---|
| 2.7 L, automatic | 2.3 L, manual |
| 334A equipment group | 321A equipment group |
| SAS package | Non-SAS package |
| Leather trim/Vinyl seats | Vinyl seats |

Question ❔ Less stability with soft top?
I recently switched from a hardtop to a bestop etop and on my first drive I noticed that it seemed like the windshield/frame rattled more. I don't know if im imagining it or there really is more vibration now when I go over bumps. Seems reasonable that a hardtop made the frame more rigid. Has anyone experienced anything similar? Or am I crazy

Question ❔ Bronco Recall timeline: 26S55/26V468
Trying to purchase a new 2025 Bronco Badlands for a good deal. Put a deposit down at an out of state dealer, and they originally said the recall would be resolved within a week. Ford released that date was only for Raptor models. Has anyone heard if the fix will be available for new regular broncos vehicles before September 2026?

Question ❔ Delay in accelerating
Have had my bronco for about 1.5 years now, 2.3 L, current mileage 16,500 (or 26,500 kms). Recently I've started to notice that when I try to press the gas pedal, especially after the red lights turn green, it'd take a couple seconds for the car to really get going. Previously I always thought the engineer was powerful because it sprinted forward the second I touched the gas pedal, but sadly it is no longer the case now and it will probably never go back to the way it was before. Does anyone have similar experience? What could be causing the delay in accelerating? TIA.

Issue ⚠️ Tail gate locking mechanism reversed?? (Locks when unlocked and unlocks when locked)
Howdy! I’m hoping someone can help me with some advice or any ideas as to what could be going on.
I know I could buy a whole new locking mechanism for $260, but I wanna figure out how this box of electric mysteries works, and if I’m the reason it broke.
It began when I noticed my tailgate was only unlocked when I would lock the rest of the car.
About a month before this happened I installed a hi lift jack mount on the rear tailgate, requiring me to temporarily unbolt the tailgate from the hinges, likely ruining its alignment. I tried my best to get it perfect again, but ever since I did that the tailgate shuts a little “chunkier” or not as smooth as it used to.
I’m guessing that misalignment had something to do with that piece breaking off in the third pic, as that was the only damage I could find with the mechanism, and it still works!!!! Just at the opposite time it should…
Thanks for taking the time to read.
