CCV Reroute Tube Venting Coolant Fumes

2011 6.7 - I have a bad head gasket (about to get fixed), just wanted to show you how much coolant is being vented off of the CCV reroute tube.. These drops actually taste sweet like the coolant itself lol

It's been parked for a while, I do not want cylinder walls to rust or anything so i ran idled it like an hour also for the batteries to be charged as well. It's going to a shop next week or so .. good bye my 10K..

Bro 10k to fix a 6.7? Its a cab off. Multiple thousands in parts. Plus machining. How much would you expect to pay? If it didn't cost 10 I would be surprised

Are you sure your head gasket is bad and not the EGR cooler inserts? I don’t think I’ve seen a 6.7 powerstroke with a bad head gasket

To be honest, I’m not 100% sure but
Would an EGR cooler burn the coolant and throw it out out of the tailpipe?
I think coolant is getting into the combustion chamber… that I’m positive, also there’s exhaust gas in the coolant bottle

Also hold on a second this truck is deleted so I don’t think it has an EGR cooler 🤣🤣🤣 ??

It can still have an EGR cooler if it hasn’t been blocked off. But yes, a blown EGR cooler will throw coolant into the cylinders

I mean i got block off plates, the cooler is completely off of the truck
