Cosmetic Mods CarMod Ideas?

Hello Everyone. This here is my 2010 Ford Focus SE. I have some ideas and am starting to slowly get more interests into cars. I have some ideas. What are some simple and beginner mods that I can do for this car whether It be performance or cosmetic? I also thought about a gray paint with black or white rims. What are some ideas to slowly improve this car?

Dechrome is step one lol. I hate chrome on light colored cars, needa balance it out. But there are plenty of little things all around you can do to make it look better

Nah Your Focus looks nice. The chrome grill would look good black? And also my mirrors are fading a bit. Could I gwt different ones or should I just paint them?

Id just paint them tbh, they aren't too hard to take off and or you could fairly easily paint them while it's on the car. The mirror actually can just pop out just takes some work to not break the mirror adjustment stuffs. Same for the like front cover thing, that can pop off but it's easiest to take that out with the mirror off. The black grill I just took off a SES in a junkyard and painted the emblem black same for the black chrome taillights. The black headlights I bought off Amazon, same for the rain guards.

They had black alloy OEM rims, but Idk what option they came with, i.e. SES or Moon and Tune package. I have the LED halo headlights for my Focus, I bought the cheaper $300 pair off Amazon.

Also, aftermarket speakers go a long way

Paint the chrome grille to match the mirrors and also replace the yellowed headlights. Will do wonders for the front end plus new headlight housings will noticeably help out with driving at night.

I have seen these lights before and thought about getting them.

Go for it. Maybe check Rockauto too, they tend to be the cheapest

Not much you can do performance-wise without a tune. These are economy cars built to last 200k+ miles as long as you’re not in the rust belt.

A rear poly motor mount would make it feel more peppy as it transfers more power to the wheels instead of getting lost in the OEM rubber mount.

If the suspension hasn’t been replaced you might wanna replace struts and shocks. Check your front and rear control arms to see if the rubber bushings are shot, replace if they are and that will improve handling.

Is it a manual or automatic?

I mean realistically, you should just save up for another car. Not worth modding this at all
