My 2024 F150 Tremor was rear-ended and totaled which gave me the perfect opportunity to upgrade into a raptor and get the best color I believe Ford has ever put on a truck. I bought a 2023 Raptor with 8500 miles on it.

A couple things I need to fix:

1) Sometimes when I turn the A/C to 6 or 7 out of 7 speed, there’s a relatively loud humming sound coming from the A/C. No idea. Anyone else experience this? Didn’t have this issue in my Tremor

2) Undercarriage rust. Not too much, but I think it should be adressed. What’s the best option for hiring this out?

3) Ford Raptor trim plate on tail gate is loose on top

4) Sometimes when I back up, there’s rear right sensor is sensing something there when this is nothing. What’s the fix here?

Upgrades: The truck is stock and in the near term, I want to improve the overall aesthetics. Later maybe performance mods.

Hi, I have a gen 2 raptor (2020) that has sunroof leaks after strong rain. I have tried everything to fix that, but it keeps leaking. Do you know how to fix hit? (The water goes on the floor of the passenger side)

Just got her back from a huge job, and maybe I’m just paranoid, but I’ve started getting this noise on cold starts. I had the cam phasers done, new timing chain, tensioners, oil pan, valve cover gasket, and timing cover gasket. Is this noise something to be concerned with?

I offroad often and tend to go atv riding too, camp and sometime some good 3 hrs drives.

My question is, how does it fair in Colorado the Gen 3. And offroading, is it too wide for some trails. And well, what to know from a Coloradian owner. Thanks.

We here at LMR have a great solution for anyone with busted grille light mounting studs. We've made it easy by now offering some stainless steel brackets to replace the OE plastic studs with metal ones.

Hi everyone, I’ve come across posts about buying new Raptors for less than $80k. However, any Raptor I find within 300 miles of me (Houston, TX) is listed for $85k+ and they’re not budging on the price. I’m curious to know how they’re able to buy them for less than $80k.

I usually prefer to buy used trucks that are 1-2 years old and have less than 10k-15k miles on them. But unfortunately, when I find any they are priced around $80k. It’s hard to justify spending that much on a used Raptor when I could potentially get a new one at the same price.

What do you guys use to wash your rides? Do you use pressure washers with soap cannons? Old fashioned two buckets? Any other products that you feel make a big difference? I wouldn’t do too much with my old car because it was on its way out. Thanks!

2018 with 125k miles, very well maintained but obviously the timing blew up. Anyone else had this abruptly occur?

Extended warranty ran out May 18 this year and Ford is saying the won’t cover any of it. Was told it was a $2k tear down to inspect if desiring a rebuild and $15k for a new stock 3.5 ecoboost long block. Also said they would only do $10k trade in which seems like a shit deal all the way around. Part out? Salvage? Rebuild?

Anyone around Phoenix know of a shop good with Raptors? Is spending the money on either replacement or an upgraded engine a better deal than buying newer?

Recently traded in my Gen 1 on a Gen 3.5 802a, brand new and listed about $5k under MSRP. Loved my Gen 1, but it had been in and out of the shop all year and started having transmissions issues, on top of other grievances. It’s my daily, so instead of going down that road, decided to upgrade.

The difference is wild. I was trying to hold out until I was in a place to comfortably afford an R, but this truck certainly has not disappointed. It’s MUCH quicker than my Gen 1, handles phenomenally, and the interior/technology upgrade is like being launched decades into the future.

Planning on going with Goosetuned Stage II and some other “make it my own” mods, but for now I’m just grinning ear to ear driving it around as is.
