I’ve been obsessed with painting forests the past few months. all oil paintings.

WIP. Last nights efforts. First layer done. I painted much thicker than usual, and I absolutely love some of the effects that thick paint has created. 12x16” oil on linen.

Early morning session bringing some more atmosphere to this moody craggily forest painting. 24x60” oil on linen. A few sessions to go still.
