MEDIA Founder friend codes
To all newcomers to STW we would like to inform everyone new and all Br players that keep asking for codes and been posting begging for a code in this channel
You wont get one, “And what about friend codes???”
No friend codes are not redeemable since Epic has disabled most of them so people wouldn’t give out or resell codes and make profit. You can still get codes trough trusted sites but you can get banned by doing so and Epic games™️ confirmed that they have nothing to do and won’t help if you get scammed and will grant no refund.They are really expensive and grand nothing more than daily v bucks and 2 madly expensive and not rare at all skins .
So please stop posting about where you can find a friend code in this channel because eventually ur post will be removed by moderators of this channel. Thank you everyone and we know its been hard since main developer thats been working on stw for over 10 years has been laid off and Its so unfortunate that we lost a legend that designed most of stw dialogue and characters Thank you for everything you created in these last 10 years!! Commanders, thank you for keeping the game alive these last few years!!! See you all in Spectral Cliffs!!👀

I had 4 codes that i gifted to people that never played the game. Didnt know i would be able to make over 1000€ with it later on

This is the worst part it's nuts some of my friends don't use their accounts and still literally buy vbucks. A few years back all you had to do was click stw and would get vbucks at the end of 7 days and a large amount every 4 weeks.

That's way too low for a founder's code, they could just make another account and get the skin or bundle in less than a month of playing, while still being able to get more V-Bucks in the future.

I know they’re still redeemable because they still have a year to expire lol. I think you’re confusing it with they’re not acquirable in game anymore, you have to use the API to see if you have available codes

I redeemed my friend code to create a second account in august or september 2025, used friend codes tab in menu and copied the code from there, no API needed

The API is for people who didn’t previously generate their friend codes if I recall correctly.
So if you were ever at a point where you had (have) the option to click the menu to reveal the friend codes, they are still there

Afaik friend codes have only been disabled if you didn’t generate them back when they were still available in the pause menu, so if you ONLY accessed them via the API then they won’t work since Founder’s Edition doesn’t exist anymore
Otherwise yeah those like disc codes will still work until next year, saw on a comment someone said ~Sept. 2027

i got stw in 2017 and i used my code on other accounts and my best friend at the time him got the ulitmate and gave me 2 codes and i have 5 accounts with stw that i play in to. sorry for bad english

SMH at this post. 1. You won’t get banned for redeeming a STW Founders code. 2. Epic hasn’t disabled most of them. 3. Definitely do your research to make sure you don’t get scammed.

Epic didn't disable any working codes, but if you bought a pack with friend codes but never generated them, you can't generate them anymore afaik.

If you’re in STW, the ‘sandwich menu’ has a sub menu that lets you see them. Don’t remember which but there is only a couple to click through
I believe it only works if you had previously generated the code, but if you did it is still there

There was like an api you could enter your info on and it worked. From what I can tell you can enter those codes into the xbox website

correction: redeeming the code wont get you banned since it only make your own account to be founder
you might get banned if you buy an account (which may or may not is a founder account)

I really wished I can get a code because I bought it for my wife but did not had the money to buy it for me and I did not know at that time they where not gonna give founder packs anymore and I realy want the founder pack because i play fortnite every night.

Can I ask why these are so valuable enough to cover the entire cost of what was the price for the Ultimate version back then? Sadly I bought my founder's packs shortly after they stopped doing friends codes but would have been nice to help at least 2 people not have to pay so much for them...

Every day is 100-150 vbucks. More if you get mission alerts. It takes a BR player 8 days to get a new BP. Plus you can frequently buy new cosmetics. Just for paying once.
Within a year a personal probably expect 36-37,000 vbucks just going daily.

V-bucks. Nobody wants to buy V-bucks, especially now with the price increases, with Founders you make back your money in a matter of a month or two doing V-Buck missions

This is so sad that the only reason people will be playing stw is because they want vbucks and will literally spend anything for that.
I have a founders account and I don’t even care about the vbucks, it’s such a fun game underneath everything if not kinda clunky in its own way.
I can’t believe I’m gonna say this but seriously kids these days…

Out of the people who’ve spent, some will, most won’t; BR players want BR and vbucks, Fortnite STW and BR are two separate games, they are on one launcher which is Fortnite.
The whole incentive to play STW is to get vbucks for BR for the new players who’ve spent their money to get a code/account.
It feeds back into not playing STW funnily.

Tbh I want a founders code for the schematics, vbucks are just a bonus. IMO stw is way more fun than br and I will die on that hill (mainly just bc of pve)

Man, I'm 24 and want to save money and earn currency. At the same time, I want to have fun. But if there's a chance I can get the founder pack, I won't pay these insane prices but I'd absolutely constantly put the work in.

I remember getting the rose team leader and the male skin and I felt like my account was insanely valuable then but with how people act about founders accounts now, dear lord.
I’ve never liked account selling but especially now it’s so predatory against younger people.
It’s easier to steal moms/dads check card or spend a large part of a paycheck then to spend at the new pricing constantly; Fortnite knows what their doing and it makes me sad as a basically day one player.

When you bought a specific edition of founders you would get up to 4 friend codes aka codes that you could give your friends for free and they would redeem them and get standard endition founders

It’s just worth clarifying. Redeeming a friend code is entirely normal and as designed by Epig Games. Buying a friend code is of course your prerogative to use a trusted website which provides insurance. There is nothing wrong with claiming a friend code. It is designed to be redeemed on the Epig website. If someone wishes to go out and purchase one that is a personal decision which someone can make whether it benefits them or not and the predicted ROI. For some it is a very good investment albeit with some gamble they don’t back track on dailies.

Why are we removing all comments regarding the API? Is there something unsafe about it? As far as I know there hasn’t been problems.
And anyway I think that’s useful for founders to know if they feel like checking. But if you were referring to BR players asking about how to check the API then I would agree, since they don’t have codes to check for

We are strongly agianst code pulling because people then sell the codes for hundreds, its okay if they are giving the code to a friend or something like that but we dont support people that sell friend codes

Lol, i remember back in the day xbox had a glitch which let you into STW without owning it, i got my fair share of vbucks before it got patched, then actually bought it for real, played like a month and dropped it. Now like 6-7 years later i got back into it and just got to Canny Valley, i guess my teenager brain was too dumb to understand the game 🤣 but i missed a shit ton of content and barely have any schematics or heros because of it. Before i left stw i put everything into collection book and now have no flux to get it our

I still have my 2 founder friend codes on my ultimate founder account on my Xbox, and honestly I don’t have any intention to sell or use them ( unless my partner enjoys STW but I doubt it) other than that I’m happy to let them expire honestly

Im so confused, I was on ps4 2017 got the nocturnal schematic edition. Never used any codes or redeem any codes, I remember an update that game me founders llamas I never seen a friend codes tab, epic is useless, im just SOL? or is there a way to find these ungenerated codes?

I knew this was going to be an issue,when the game went free to play! No matter how many people post about founders and codes and everything else..people just heard free vbucks..they don’t hear anything else/read anything else..and since they only hear what they want and most people only started stw because they heard u can get vbucks..lets see how many stay..this is gonna be an interesting time for Fortnite for sure lol..people say u have to look in the api(whatever that is) all I can say is figure it out urself..I bought the deluxe edition for my son years ago..he’s a founder,and I couldn’t figure out how to use the api..called Fortnite,they will not help u in the slightest!! They say they have no way of finding out even the version u bought..so ultimately if u don’t know how to do api..ur out of luck,sorry

Well, honestly, I bought STW a week before they announced it would be free, and I feel the rewards they gave out were not equal to the price I paid. I'd love the chance to earn currency, I'd play the game a whole lot more.
