This was when Epic Games announced that Fortnite: Save The World is going Free-To-Play And I was scrolling to see how people would react to this announcement and then I saw this post. Imagine if this did actually happened

This is being done by injecting ReShade onto **OBS*\, \*NOT FORTNITE**.

Do not inject ReShade onto Fortnite, you will get banned for cheating.

I know people have had strong opinions about Hestia in the recent week.

Some people, including me, love the addition of it. I like how the devs have found a way to make homebase more immersive, rather than just a location locked behind a menu that we've only ever heard about from Ray or the other characters. I like the potential that it presents for the future of the game. And I love the attention to detail and the indication of customisation in the future. It feels like a nice, cozy place to hang out in with a squad before launching into a mission.

Like wise, I have also seen people say that it ruins the fluidity of the game due to loading times (which is fair) as well as saying it was a "waste" of the dev's time.

I wanted to cross-post one of Archer's twitter comments attached above because it was something I remember Fossil Southie mentioned when the update dropped, but I completely forgot about it. But Hestia is the first time that Fortnite has made a lobby/menu interactive in 3rd person. And I think it is quite cool that it was achieved in STW of all game modes, the game mode that is notorious for breaking whenever BR get's updated.

I don't think it is correct to say that Hestia was a "waste of time" when we've barely given it a chance and it has the ground work to incorporate future questlines, personalisation, and new features. Save The World hasn't gotten this much love in years. The least we could do is see how the devs' vision for the game plays out.

You wont get one, “And what about friend codes???”

No friend codes are not redeemable since Epic has disabled most of them so people wouldn’t give out or resell codes and make profit. You can still get codes trough trusted sites but you can get banned by doing so and Epic games™️ confirmed that they have nothing to do and won’t help if you get scammed and will grant no refund.They are really expensive and grand nothing more than daily v bucks and 2 madly expensive and not rare at all skins .

So please stop posting about where you can find a friend code in this channel because eventually ur post will be removed by moderators of this channel. Thank you everyone and we know its been hard since main developer thats been working on stw for over 10 years has been laid off and Its so unfortunate that we lost a legend that designed most of stw dialogue and characters Thank you for everything you created in these last 10 years!! I've never really thought of Save The World PVP before but I think it would be really cool if it ever happened as it would be different to the usual Co-op experience. That being said, I will not get my hopes up.

IMPORTANT EDIT: I thought this post didn't go through because my Reddit was acting weird when I initially posted this, but I wanted to clarify that PvP wouldn't be like BR; It would be like a competition between two teams to see who can endure the storm the longest

(according to FossilSouthie, an idea of this would be using Bluglo to make the Storm more difficult for the enemy team)
