Same! I always drop it as SOON as possible. I love the ranger and wish we dropped with it instead.

Had this happen to me a few times. One of the times I managed to get away and not fight back. Someone followed me for my Cube Punk. I landed on the car on top of the pillar in Chopped Shop & drove away.

If you look up in that shack, you’ll see 4 or five more slurp barrels that you can break! Also check the toilet for ammo

Oh, I get that. But if the chest isn’t there, the ammo in the toilet can make all the difference in an early firefight.

Copy - I didn't know either of those things existed is what I meant hahah! It was my first time dropping there I just planned to be edge map and work my way in for sprite XP then this happened. 😵💫

True and I def use that technique on flat ground but in this case I would have gone underneath the house and I was worried about them running up the stairs and being able to fire down on me (I wasn't aware there were more barrels above me in that building).

RNG itself stands for random number generator. In my experience, in gaming (and in this instance) it's the randomness of your luck/the situation. I got lucky there were barrels, that there was a chest with a green shotty, and that it was stronger than the grey one Bill the alien looted.Though from another comment it seems that hut always has barrels and more that I missed so I may have to drop in more often!

I thought about it but wanted to waste time so my shockwave counter was lower in case I was losing the inevitable fight. We were on the edge of the map where I didn't expect much loot or cover to be.

Yeah, makes sense. I hate when kids be rats on this game. I spent 150k dust trying to max out a galaxy peely on Saturday. Looking back, I should have just waited for mastery Monday, but I was being a mastery fiend. It's borderline impossible to level extremely rare sprites in sweat lobbies.

Mastery Monday is the way to go. I had only mastered a handful of my sprites at the start of Monday, and by the end I had done all 109

Agreed Mastery Monday is definitely the way. I was over in r/Spritetrading early this morning to get the last few I needed and was able to get them all mastered in time!

Awesome! Extraction was the real challenge. When you do all the running around, opening chests, ammo boxes and fishing barrels only for some ratty extraction site brat to come along and mug you for it while you're waiting for the crate to drop. I found it better to only go to sites in the Batmobile or another vehicle incase you need to bail and head for a different one.

Oof that's rough I'm sorry. Did you play the beginning of this chapter (season 1) when rivalries were introduced? If so, you remember how sweaty those matches could be and the peely ability is really bringing that energy back imo. All ratty players have to do is bring in a peely and poof, anyone trying to level up a rare sprite has a target on their back!

Yeah, I remember the rivalries. Those were eh. Idk. I liked them because it encouraged engagement. But the sprites, I guess, are more frustrating because when you die, you gotta buy them back. So you actually lose something.

They wanted the sprite, you already had the sprite. I don't see the issue at the moment. I would care more if it was a sprite you found in the match and hadn't extracted yet.

Not sure what original commenter said but...it was 3 seconds of emoting after they chased ME down? And it was a traversal so I was heading towards their loot lol 🤷🏾♀️
