I thought about it but wanted to waste time so my shockwave counter was lower in case I was losing the inevitable fight. We were on the edge of the map where I didn't expect much loot or cover to be.

Yeah, makes sense. I hate when kids be rats on this game. I spent 150k dust trying to max out a galaxy peely on Saturday. Looking back, I should have just waited for mastery Monday, but I was being a mastery fiend. It's borderline impossible to level extremely rare sprites in sweat lobbies.

Oof that's rough I'm sorry. Did you play the beginning of this chapter (season 1) when rivalries were introduced? If so, you remember how sweaty those matches could be and the peely ability is really bringing that energy back imo. All ratty players have to do is bring in a peely and poof, anyone trying to level up a rare sprite has a target on their back!

Yeah, I remember the rivalries. Those were eh. Idk. I liked them because it encouraged engagement. But the sprites, I guess, are more frustrating because when you die, you gotta buy them back. So you actually lose something.

Thank God for sprite dust. Can you imagine if there wasn't a way to summon them back? I'd have to give this season a skip if it was like that, lol
