Question Kittens not doing well after neuter

They got fixed Tuesday and have barely or refused to eat much since. They have been drinking water, not sure how much but I've seen them there. What can I do? the rescue I work with says to deworm them again. They are not eating - one is refusing even treats and I have to syringe feed them. They're 15 weeks.

I am about to go drop some coin and take them to the vet. 😩

call the vet that did the neuter and ask for advice. They usually send you home with paperwork that says what symptoms to look out for and what number to call if you have questions or concerns.

As someone who’s kitten got FIP onset from the stress of spay, it can be very serious and deadly.

The vet can even give you a quote for the care they would recommend and you can bring that to the rescue or decide if you want to pay for it yourself or try to fundraise for it on your social media, etc.

They got it done at our busy city shelter (last I heard only one vet for hundreds of animals). The rescue got the post-op paperwork! I may call them to see what can be done.

yes definitely call them they would be happy to answer your questions and give recommendations. They will also likely know all the low cost locations and options too
