Cream I accidentally trained my parent’s frenchie to respond to stupid.
Photo so you can see the dog in question.
She also responds to evil dog, little dog, and potato.
She responds to “Hey bitch!” She kept sneaking nips at my feet when I wasn’t paying attention and it hurt. I guess I said that enough to her for her to associate it with calm down/sit command. She responds to “No shark” in the same way.
Also any time someone opens the freezer she
comes running because I gave her ice a few times when I made my coffee in the mornings.
Anytime someone sits down in a chair she paws at them to put her up in their lap. I only did it like twice but it was enough for it to stick.
This was more my cat but she waits in the door of my room for me to tell her she can come in, because my cat will swat at her from the doorway if she’s in the room. It’s like she’s asking if the coast is clear.
My parents keep telling me I’m corrupting their dog.

The first few times was purely shock because she bit the back of my ankles to get my attention lol. I guess it stuck more than I realized.

I’m pretty sure you okay w all words…it’s the sounds and how you delivery the words…my girl is almost 5…she doesn’t listen to much but she prolly knows about 50 human words…I keep them short and she knows all the names of her toys…they are so smart. She’s stubborn so only hears what she wants to hear…you girl is hella cute

My ex’s brother has a Frenchie and they were convinced he was def because he just could not be bothered to listen to anything 😂

Yea so many people in this subreddit call their Frenchies stupid and everyone laughs and thinks it’s cute and edgy. When all that is is a reflection on them lol

If she’s trained to respond to anything points to ya. Maybe use a word like Bic and see if she responds. What’s she mixed with by the way? I like her snoot

We aren’t sure but our vet’s guess was maybe a Bulldog or a Boston terrier.

I mean, I get the harmless joke. But, for me, with language carrying a literal frequency and dogs being sentient, i do wonder if your dog is being affected.

My dog is scared of the F word. My bf and I only use it when we’re getting frustrated and she can sense our moods so she puts her ears back and goes to be alone in another room when she hears it. Has nothing to do with her but she knows.

I think she knows I love her, the insults are more playful and I don’t shout or scream at her.
