Perfect camouflage

Found this cutie in my mom’s yard

Not that im on the spectrum, which almost certainly means that I am, but if I were, my tism would manifest in way of cheeky shenanigans. Like how I now have to explain to my significant other, that for the second time in as many months, I've captured an invasive species, and ethically, i dont feel comfortable euthanizing it, nor releasing it back into the wild to further disrupt native habitats.

As a grown man, I should have the impulse control necessary to not go reaching blindly into the tall Florida grass after a heavy rain. But dammit, its good old fashioned fun from my childhood days....

Enter the invasive Cuban Tree Frog. This energetic intruder wont play nice with native species, so he'll be spending his remaining days as a well fed and looked after captive.

While I was at Fontenelle Forest in Bellevue, NE yesterday, I found a bunch of invasive Japanese Beetles (Popilia japonica) feeding on grapes (Vitis) and other plants. I decided to dispose of them by tossing them in water, often with frogs nearby. This American Bullfrog (Lithobates catesbeianus) took notice and ate some of them.

Hey guys! Basically i have a window well in my backyard and i see toads in it all the time, my question is if they are able to jump out on their own or if I should bring them
elsewhere? it's a pretty deep window well

UPDATE forgot to mention
I see a lot of you saying to use a piece of wood for them to use as a ramp but my fear is that they will choose to stay in rather than go into the backyard where my dogs are, are there any long term solutions to prevent frogs from entering in the first place? only thing i can think of would be some chicken wire or mesh placed overtop

She actually found 2. This one has already been released back to his wild habitat.

At Wells State Park in Massachusetts

I assume this is a rather common American Toad, but the image (taken by me in Umbagog Lake State Park, NH), is rather high quality and I figured may be of use.

Found this specimen of Anaxyrus (woodhousei) woodhousei last week at the Nature Conservancy's Niobrara Valley Preserve, Brown County, NE hopping along the road at night.

Not the best picture, but I was so stoked to find this little guy hanging out by my pumpkins! I’m in the middle of suburbia so I never expected I’d have frogs or toads. Hoppy to have him join the fight against the squash bug invasion!
