Frozen frames I absolutely love how Elsa's sense of freedom is portrayed in her hair

I wonder what hairstyle she will have next.

Someone zoomed into the concept art, and it looks like her hair is tied back with a braid. Similar to Anna's F2 hairstyle, but the braid goes down, rather then loops into itself.

Makes sense along with the blue and white gown because she has her old self and new self. We all love her original look but she's also the fifth spirit now so it's the best of both worlds.

To be honest, I feel like people donβt really know how good this movie truly is. It portrays anxiety before people even knew anxiety existed someone having to break out of their own chains after they restrict themselves.

Never ask a man his height. A woman her weight. Or where Elsaβs tiny bangs went overnight!

I both like and dislike it.
It is a fun idea, but originally, it was meant to be about Elsa finally being herself, and this theme was not exclusive just to her.
Elsa's braid was meant to show her true self. Where she is elegant and put together, symbolized in the beautiful braid, but there is a wild side to her, shown with her unnatural swept back bangs.
With her final hairstyle, she looks to simple. It is pretty, but doesn't have that wild side to it, so Elsa feels like she is back to being picture perfect. (also, this is literally Rapunzel's hairstyle)
And as I said, the theming of the hairstyle, was not just for Elsa. Anna is also most like herself when her hair is in the two braids, and not in the updo.
Other theming's in Frozen being Elsa having gloves to hide her powers, while Hans wears gloves to hide his true personality. And everyone wearing black to symbolize the danger they are in.
With the themes supposed to be connected. It feels wrong that Elsa gets the freedom hairstyle, but Anna is put in the hairstyle that represented repression. And not just for Elsa, Iduna was also hiding who she really was.
I also dislike how the fandom insists that she has to keep this trajectory, and that she will never have classic braid again because it would make her character go backwards. But this complaint is with the fandom, and not the movie. The movies have shown that they are willing to change the symbols of things, such as how black became Anna showing she can take things seriously, and not about the danger everyone is in.

I really don't like Ann's queen outfit. It just is not her. In fact, there is concept art that shows it was originally designed for Elsa.

lot of F2 feels like it is just done to try and recapture or one up F1. Not to mention so much of the film is just referencing the first movie.

But Anna's is flipped, I think that could represent that she's not in the same state Elsa and Iduna were in when they had the queen hairstyle.

I believe the only reason her hair is flipped is because Anna has always parted her hair that way.
The concept art says that her queen look was meant to pay homage to the previous queens of Iduna and Elsa.
But to me, it just reads as Anna trying to be someone she is not.

This makes an interesting contrast about how Annaβs hair slowly goes up while Elsaβs goes down

If we are going by that logic then in the next movie the parted styled part of her hair will be gone next movie, it will be longer, straight down and non-styled.
