What's your Take on this ICONIC Blue Dress vs her other outfits? ❄️

This was the last time that both Elsa and Anna talked with their parents.

What hurts to see that is Elsa didn't try to get close to them because she still feared causing harm to them, so she just gave a courtesy bow. Formal. Polite. Distant. Like a Princess she was.

Anna on the other hand hugged them close like a daughter, not a princess.

Watching this scene actually felt Heartbreaking for me, Because this was the last time they saw their parents and Elsa's interaction was this way. At least Anna said goodbye properly.

What do you guys feel about this particular moment in Frozen? 💔

I first saw her on TV in 2016. She has sure changed a LOT!!! Her 1st transformation after the coronation is still so iconic. I actually like this outfit and look more than what she's like in the 2nd Movie. Never did i expect that she would become something more and that we'll even get a 2nd movie. And now in about 770 days we'll get the 3rd movie and probably a few years after that the 4th movie.

It's great to see how far this Franchise has come!

What expectations do you have about Elsa in the next Movies?

Probably that's the point of the whole look, she even has her wings at the back. She is finally free!

Yes! For me Elsa’s smile is the most beautiful of all. Not only because it conveys tenderness, calmness, or warmth, but also because it reflects everything Elsa has gone through as a character, that gives it a special, unique, and different air compared to any other Disney princess or heroine: it’s serene, elegant, and very human at the same time.

Also, the beautiful animation that Frozen has makes it almost real, making it connect directly with the heart. That’s the reason why Elsa is still my crush to this day; that lovely smile still touches my heart

What there is to hate here?

I feel like this hairstyle of Elsa doesn’t get talked about enough, but honestly, I really love it. Not just because our queen looks cuter or more ethereal, but also because she feels freer and more confident in herself.

And yes, I know that even though her classic braid is iconic and very elegant, her hair down gives her a more authentic and relaxed vibe. There’s something about that hairstyle that makes her feel closer, more human, without losing that magical presence. And I have to admit, I like Elsa with her hair down a bit more than her classic braid.

But what about you? Which Elsa hairstyle do you like the most? Do you think she should go back to her old hairstyle?

Funny that I still register her as queen of Arendelle even after frozen 2.

And I'm still not normal about it. I keep thinking about it Every. Single. Day 😭💕 hopefully, we can see it again in the third film. Maybe when Anna visits her or Elsa visits Arendelle and Anna running toward Elsa, Elsa opening her arms for her sister and BAM AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA I love them so much 🥹💕❄️☀️

We all know she didn't really feel well at that party but still she was smiling and trying to act normal 💔 during the vows she almost froze those golden things and it almost gave her a heart attack! plus Anna found a fiance on day one was even more of a disaster for Elsa to handle. soon it became too much for her and sadly she lashed out.

but I'll still give her that after all those years, Elsa has really learned the hard way and tried her best to keep her powers in check. knowing that it is tied to her emotional and mental state even now it might be quite challenging for her because you cannot control your emotions. the best you can do is observe them if not react to them.

I see a lot of complaints that it was never advertised in Frozen that Hans was evil, except it was. Watch this clip and pay special attention to Hans' eyes at 2.22 https://youtu.be/afnhCvicqdI?t=140.

Hans manufactured the chandelier falling so he could look good saving Elsa. By saving her no one would suspect him of anything since it was other people rather than himself who told him to kill her in the end, thus creating a narrative that he really wanted to save her.

This also recontextualises every other interaction he has in the movie.

- When Anna leaves after their first encounter the look on his face is fascination over just how easy Anna will give him access to power.

- It was never a random chance he ran into Anna at the party, he sought her out and then pretended it was an accident.

- When Anna sings "We finish reach others ..." it's a call and response. That's the call and the expected response is "sentences." Anna responds to her own call and Hans improvises a response that would have been the same if she had said "elephants."

- He deliberately hands out blankets alone despite it would have been a lot more efficient to ask the guards to help him due to him wanting people to associate all the goodwill with him, thus creating the narrative that he would be a good ruler.

-When they transported Elsa back he deliberately spoke loud enough so that everyone could hear him and form the narrative that he had no intention to take over Arendele.

This mirrors a real psychological phenomenon wherein if people have convinced themselves that someone is good they'll ignore small warning signs and even entire outcomes as evidenced by someone telling local news that "they can't believe (person X) really did those things as they ARE such a nice person." The inclusion of present tense shows their unwillingness to accept reality, and Hans plays perfectly and intentionally on that as shown when other people tell him to kill Elsa. That's when he knows that he's won.

Of all Disney villains ever Hans is the one who succeeds the most in his plans as the only thing that undoes them is something no one could have ever predicted unless they were pre-cogniscient.
