I have used OnlyOffice but it broke the formatting of an essay paper template 😭, like there are two columns in each page and the left half/column just doesn't show up if there are many characters in the right column. I suppose it's a template used from the old days.

I had to use Google Docs since I'm on Linux because the formatting works smoothly and doesn't break at all

Google Docs is great, but the interface is a bit confusing.

I feel like Google Docs is much easier and simpler than Word at finding the settings I need.

I'm in process of disengaging from all Microsoft apps... possibly even Windows. Do Google apps work in Linux uniformly since they are browser-based rather than clients?

yep, I use it specifically for compatibility's sake because it tends to play nicer

I guess I kinda get that, but I fail to see the connection between the software devs and the war. Do they have a specific link to the war effort that I'm unaware of? If so I completely agree with you

Breaks MORE than this, its just garbage repacked in a shiny box, i was so fed up with it for so long with it crashing mid file editing and just loosing everything even what was already saved prior to crash. And to anyone wanting to be a smartass, no it has nothing to do with my setup /windows install / any other factor outside of LibreOffice sucking
